I'm an ex-New Yorker residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Skiing is one of my biggest passions and there is no better place for it in the world than right here in the Wasatch Mountain Range. I've had some crazy experiences that include things like a dirt bike tour of Central America's Pacific Coast and skiing off of 30' cliffs. I'm constantly embarking on journeys to further my own knowledge. I'm very interested in all mechanical and structural sciences as well as cutting edge technologies. Maybe one day, if I can find the right sponsors, I will build a self-contained electric car prototype that will not be limited as to how far it can travel on one charge. I'm a sucker for quotes so let me leave you with a couple that I enjoy: ~"Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is." ~"An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered."
Need help identifying a mammal found in Utah.?
While hiking Big Cottonwood Canyon (Wasatch range), in Utah, I saw a mammal that intrigued me. It had the shape of a mountain beaver, but it wasn't that as this was much too large. It was found at an elevation about 8,000' in a rock slide path bounding effortlessly from rock to rock. Weight was approximately 10-20 pounds. it was large! Coat was a medium brown with 2-3 darker circular rings that wrapped around its lower midsection just in front of its hind legs. The coat was bushy; almost stringy. Its movements were agile and seemed to be at home on or in the rocks. I've viewed many photos online and cannot come up with anything even close. What do you all think?
3 AnswersZoology1 decade agoHow do I program a Mitsubishi 290P035A10 Remote control that came with an older CS-40503 TV (circa 1995)?
I bought this TV last week for cheap and it came with the original remote control. I searched high and low and cannot find a programing guide anywhere online. There are no lights on the remote to indicate when it might be in programming mode and I'm totally lost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

1 AnswerTVs1 decade agoAdjusting/tuning a s006 rc helicopter?
I just picked up a s006 Alloy shark rc Helicopter. (A toy for the office). Even though the instructions are in English, the context and lack of support make it so that I might as well be reading another language. It is worse than Ebonics. Does anybody know how to adjust the dual motors so that it doesn't spin? The instructions say something about a screw on a circuit board, but it is not clear at all. The trim controls on the remote are not enough to compensate for the twist. Can anybody help?
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoSqueeze concert in 2009?
Yeah I know, this is going to sound strange, but I have to ask. When walking into a convenient store today, I overheard on their radio something about an upcoming Squeeze concert in Connecticut. I tried looking it up online, but found that their website hasn't been updated in a year and their are no tickets listed for sale anywhere. Does anybody anything about this show?
3 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoHow much do you feed your dog? ?
I have a retired Greyhound. He is 12 years old and in fabulous shape. He is not at all overweight and my vet has said he is the best looking Greyhound he has ever seen for the age. The dog is huge at 90 pounds; even though he looks skinny. He is just bigger then all the other greyhounds we come across. The question... I feed him twice a day. Each time, he eats about 4 cups of dry quality food for a total of 8 cups a day. This seems like a lot of food when compared to other dogs.

4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhy is the media not talking about Obama and his connection with ACORN & their multi-state lawsuits for fraud?
ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) has been charged with voter registration fraud in many states. Workers paid by [liberal Democrat voter registration group ACORN] to register voters in Franklin County [Ohio] alone have turned in more than 500 forms with nonexistent addresses and potentially fake signatures, said elections officials (in Franklin County, Ohio alone)... Elections workers verifying new-voter forms discovered signatures with the same handwriting, addresses that were for vacant lots and incorrect information for voters who already were registered. ACORN has been implicated in voter registration fraud in several states, including Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. The media talks about Obama's Community Organizer background, but intentionally leave out that he was directly involved in ACORN. If Community Organizing is the lion's share of Obama's resume, then why are they not exploring his involvement in the fraud?
