My childhood was pretty messed up and i have always had issues with my family. In my early teens, my strict father would always make things difficult for me. He would listen to my phone conversations, make up lies, slander and constantly criticize me.

Sometimes when we would get into an argument, he would call me names like 'whore', 'street walker', 'loser', 'worthless' and honestly it has had a HUGE impact on my life. I've had trouble in school, self esteem issues, and haven't been able to forget those words. As a Muslim i know that its wrong for me to cut ties with my family but what should i do? i have no respect for him (and he has never said sorry)

Theres a brother i started talking to a couple months ago on facebook. I knew of him in highschool but never talked to him before.

We used to briefly chat online about anything (nothing bad) and it became a habit.. Hes just amazing. Hes practicing, kind, knowledgable.. i love everything about him.

Me and this pisces man were starting to get to know each other..we spoke often and had such DEEP, mentally stimulating conversations and it was going on for a couple months...he would often vanish for weeks and then come back and act like everythings cool (which was annoying)...we never expressed any feelings for each other but i knew he liked me...and im sure he felt i liked him as well ..i don't know what happened but he just stopped talking to me, started avoiding me ..i always think about him wow .............* sigh * ...... why do you think he might of stopped talking to me? .. The way our conversations were..i dont think it could be possible to loose interest lol (they weren't at all sexual, just very very stimulating)

Before fajr today....I seen in my dream...a beautiful brown horse slowly come down from the sky and then galloping away....then a man sat on the horse and started coming in my direction (but still far) and he kept saying "Allahu Akbar" and pointing towards the sky wit this index finger and then galloped away.... and i also pointed towards the sky with my index finger.....it was very interesting...... I asked a question earlier asking why people hate islam. Many people said because of the media, bombing etc.

I understand those people you see on TV are 'Muslims' but , have you actually read the Quran? SUICIDE is haram (prohibited) .

How come people don't use their own brains and try to understand Islam by reading and learning about it ( not necessarily to convert but just to gain REAL knowledge)
