I don't want the actual code you used, I've written it myself for fun, not for class as I am not even in a programming class. I'm more interested in how professional programmers think.

What was the first thing you did to get started? Did you declare a class and create objects of it or did you use an array or another technique?

How many lines of code did you use and what programming language was it?

The position is either 8, 18, 28, or 38, if you ran the program did it work right and produce the correct number? What was it?

Lastly, how long did it take you to make it?

I'm open to answers from anyone interested in this sort of challenge, professional programmer, programming student, or someone who does this for fun like I do.

What is the point of using \b? If I accidentally type "prograa" it makes more sense to hit the real backspace and type "m" than to write "prograa\bm".

Can anyone explain the usage of this? Thanks.

If I have an array, let's say

int arr[4] = {2, 4, 6, 8};

And I want to change the values later in my program to let's say

1, 3, 5, 7

Is there a shorter, more efficient way than

arr[0] = 1; arr[1] = 3; arr[2] = 5; arr[3] = 7;

I know I could just declare a new array but I'd rather keep this one and change the values. Thanks.

Several years back I purchased a Western Digital external "My Passport". I was using Windows and my system crashed. Since then, I have changed to Macintosh, then to Linux. I am using Ubuntu, and I cannot write to my Western Digital. Is there a way to access it? Thanks!

It was from some website that I never heard about. My computer was over $1,000 and I couldn't get it to work, so I had to buy a new one.

Obviously, I don't know who made the file with a virus that I downloaded, but I know who made the movie. How much could I get in damages, since I am in this mess because of their movie to begin with?

So I got pulled over for speeding, and the officer asks me for my license and registration. He told me that he had pulled me over for speeding.

He went to his police car and came back with a speedding ticket, and drove off. NOT ONCE DID HE SAY HE WAS SORRY for pulling me over OR giving me a ticket.

Do I still have to pay it? Could I do something to lower it?

Other than that, he seemed nice and well-mannered, so I wouldn't want him to get into too much trouble. I just don't want to pay this unfairly issued speeding ticket, and I am pretty sure that I don't have to.

If you guys could tell me what penal code absolves me of it, I would be most grateful. Thanks.

It's a Frigidaire.

It makes noise when turned on.

If I open it after 30 minutes to a couple hours of operation, there is steam, and water on the base of it, but the dishes are still dry (all of them, no matter where they are dispersed).

I dissassembled it, took it outside and sprayed it off, and brought it back in, but I am still not seeing it work.

1. How can I troubleshoot whether it is water pressure or if it is the unit itself?

2. If the unit is good, but the water pressure is too low to support a dishwasher, what other options can I explore?
