  • How to quit a full-time job?

I've decided that I need to quit my current job TODAY. It's just making me a physical and emotional wreck and I need a fresh start. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how to actually quit.

I am able to give two weeks notice, so that's not an issue. Also, my boss works in another state and we just communicate through the phone - so any advice on how to quit over the phone would be great too.

    Thanks everyone!

  • Should I stay in my job or look for something else?

So - I graduated college with a bachelor's degree about 2 years ago. Since then I have had multiple jobs, but none that I really enjoy. Right now I have been in my current job for 3 months and I'm working about 10-12 hours a day and making a little over $20,000/yr (it's salary, not hourly). I just constantly feel stressed out, and though I work for a reputable nonprofit organization - i can't help but think my time would be better spent elsewhere.

I am also applying for a Master's degree in September, so I'm looking for something to hold me over until then.

Should I stay, working like a dog and making nothing - or find something else that might be able to earn enough to get me out of debt?

    All input is appreciated! Thanks!!

  • Help! How do I get over my fear of throwing out my useless stuff?

Alright folks - I need a little help and some inspiration. I have recently come to the conclusion that I have too many material posessions, clothing, and junk! I really want to get rid of it so that I can't only have the basics- but I feel like I can't.

Every few months, I go through my closets (2 walk-ins) and try to fill up a bag to donate...but I always have a hard time! Some of the things I have, I never wore...so I feel like I owe it to my credit card debt to keep them. I know that I'm silly...but I really can't get over this fear of throwing things out!!

**I wish that I could have a garage sale, but the place that i live doesn't allow it**

Any suggestions/personal stories would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Question for the men: How do I ask a shy guy out?

Alright guys - so I have a school girl crush on my old roommate (i'm not actually a school girl though - i'm in my 20's). Ever since he moved out, we've been talking as friends...and I want to take it to the next level! He's super shy, and never dates. He hasn't asked me out or anything...and I don't know if it's because he's just shy - or if he's actually not interested.

His birthday is Sunday - and I sort of said openly that we should hang out....but I want to know what i should do to make it actually happen!! I sometimes have a problem with being too agressive though...and I don't want to scare him off either!

  • Has anyone tried removing hair with "sugaring"???

I've recently heard about this technique called sugaring - where you wax off your unwanted hair with sugar instead of regular wax. Has anyone tried this? It's supposed to be better for your skin than waxing - and is easier to do yourself at home.
