Planet Earth?
I hope I get a proper intelligent answer to my question, only clever people please answer.
If Earth was a Tomato and we stuck so many straws in it and sucked out all the good stuff from it what would happen to the tomato.
Earth is like a tomato, we dig for Minerals, gas, Oil and a lot of its natural properties, what will replace what we have taken out. Who will replace it and how. Should we wait for Earth Quakes or Tsunami to do that and take millions of lives with it.
Answers please. Thank you.

9 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoThe new laws for children in employment in India?
The new laws came out recently for children employed in India, you cannot employ anyone under the age of 14 anymore, and they have to be in schools.
The law in itself though very clear makes a mockery of the government who passed the law.
1. Where are the schools for the millions of children now on the streets?
2. For the homeless and orphans, what facilities are there?
3. Most of the children working were providing additional income to their poor parents
4. Should the governments in the third world countries listen to the cries of the first world countries?
5. In the first world countries you see the young boys vandalizing properties, stealing and causing human misery for ordinary citizens.
6. Children in India are occupied making a living and have no time to go around doing what their counterparts do in the first world countries.
7. Supposing the government is able to find schools and teachers for these children, what about their other day to day expenses and what about their families who depended on their income?
8. Again supposing all the children went to school and qualified, where will the government find employment for them, with millions being born and after the limited job market and only those with very high qualification can be absorbed into that.
9. Having studied, to what ever level, will these children accept any jobs, or fight for jobs more suited to their education.
Having looked at all the above points, will the children having got their diplomas and degrees become like people in UK and USA etc, living on the government handouts. At least in those countries you have unemployment benefit schemes, does or can India afford that. So what will happen to these “men” Now, that’s any bodies guess.

8 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoThe Great Indian Morality?
Recently we have seen moral police all over grabbing headlines in all the media about the obscene acts by courting or married couples in public places, even if they are just loking into each others eyes or just holding hands.
Most recent episode is about Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere, it was so obvious that Gere was just SLOBBIRNG all over Shilpa and she was so happy with the whole idea. Now suppose an Indian was SLOBBERING all over Shilpa like that would she have been happy, or is it just because he was a foreigner, a white man. Gere was seen on stage first kissing her hand all over then mouth-to-mouth kiss and then Slobbering all over her cheeks.
Are there different rules in this country for Indians and Foreigners, Indian couples are charged with indecent behavior, where as foreign nationals can escape any sort of punishment and we just laugh about it.
We have to decide now, how are we going treat our own Indian citizens in comparison to Foreigners or give a special treatment to them.
11 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoReservations Issue?
Indians it seems are hell bent on the idea of reservations, first the government in power and now it’s the small political parties for vote bank politics.
Government with its adventurous Arjun Singh, who incidentally tried many times to become a prime minister has used the word reservations to further his claim to that office and wants 28% Quota reservations for backward but voting classes for votes.
Maharastra was originally called Mahagujarat, the original inhabitants were Gujarati speaking Koli fishermen and they were followed by other Gujaraties and the by the Parsi who developed Bombay to its present form.
Now a small political group called Shiv Sena has laid claim to Bombay as its Marathi land and calls Marathi people sons of the soil there.
Shiv Sena now wants reservations of 80% for the so called sons of the soil (Marathi people or Manoos) in all malls and BPO centers etc, basically in vote grabbing exercise they turn a blind eye to the progress of the state and the city, they want all the investment to stop in the land of these so called sons of the soil. These sons of the soil need not be educated by have to be given top jobs and maybe they can communicate in sign language.
Every step India takes to move forward these small insignificant groups take it two steps backward. What would happen if all the Gujaratis and non-Marathi businessman left Mumbai and set up offices and businesses elsewhere. Marathi people would have to thank these groups for loss of their daily bread.
If all the states assume the same states quo on their own sons of the soil, would India remain as a true united India or be just a name ruled by the factions?
Now the big question is for all to think about and reveal, do you want a totally divided India on caste and language system or India for all Indians.
5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDynasty or Democracy?
For hundreds of Years India was under the Mogul Dynastic rule, then came the British rule, also Dynastic and now we have the Nehru / Gandhi Dynasty.
Can any true Indian claim to be really independent and say they live in a real Democratic Country.
In a Country of Billions is there no real leader who can be elected by people to run their Government for them, do they need a puppet leader who has no say in anything and has to ask another person who appointed him for permission even to speak.
The appointee has no responsibility or accountability to any let alone the people of India.
Even the children of this Dynasty are revered as demi gods and are garlanded and worshipped as such.
Where are the people who fought for freedom, where are their ideals, where is the freedom.
From one Raj to another, is that freedom.

Recently I was travelling in my car, driving back from Diu, U.T. back to gujarat, when my wife who is English, I am Indian, saw a white couple using bicycles to tour the Country, she was amazed and took a photo of the female rider.
This lady overtook us since we had to stop at a sign and shouted at my wife, " WHY ARE YOU TAKING MY PICTURE, AM I A MONKEY, TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE INDIANS WITH YOU"
Did she mean that Indians are Monkeys and that they should be photographed and that Whites are above all.
Can you imagine my feeling, Coming to my country and abusing me (Indians) in that manner, who invited her to come to India. Dont people like her know that India is a free Country now, not a part of the Raj anymore.
Over the Centuries, history will testify, that we Indians regard visitors highly, but have been repaid in such manner.
My quaestion is what should I have done under such circumstances, I am not a violent or an abusive man.
