  • travelling with a cat?

I will be travelling about 400 miles with my cat in a few weeks (it should take about 6 1/2 hrs to get there). We made the trip one-way before when he was like 3 or 4 months old and he didn't like it too much... he screamed the whole time. I had him in a medium sized dog carrier with a blanket and toy and he just didn't like it at all. He's now about a year old. I went out and bought him a smaller carrier figuring it'd make him feel more secure. He fits in it well and I take him out for a drive in the carrier every time I am off work, and he still doesnt like being in the car (his toy frog comes with us). He doesn't much mind the carrier as I have kept it in the living room and open and he actually sleeps in it a lot of the time. He's not afraid (looking at his demeanor) just telling me he's not happy. I just can't take a total of 13 hours of him screaming in the car again. Any suggestions on how to get him to stop yelling at me without drugging him?

  • TMJ issue...?

I have an issue with the left TMJ. I was told by an oral surgeon that it's not TMJ disease but a bite problem. Basically I can't open my jaw all the way (like to bite a sandwich) unless i "unlock" it first. If I try to open my mouth without unlocking that joint first, my bottom jaw kinda gets stuck until i unlock it and then i can open my mouth. The OMFS guy told me to get a bite plate made which would realign my bottom bite and allow more room on the left side for my mouth to open. I wore it faithfully for about 12 hours per day for 9 months and all it did was in the morning allowed me to open my mouth, but as soon as I would eat something, my jaw would click and I'd be back to the locking and unlocking thing again. I'm only 23 and having this issue. Could orthodontics help this problem? Does it sound like this is a bite issue? He said it isn't a joint problem but could turn into one if I don't fix the bite. i now live in another state so can't f/u with the same guy. suggestions??

  • Live NFL streaming Video?

Is there anywhere online either free or a pay site where you can get access to Live streaming video for NFL games? I have been searching on the internet forever and I can't find anything. I can get the games on audio feeds, but can't find anything for video? Anyone know of anything?

  • Stomach pain anyone?

I used to get stomach pains after I ate. This happened for like a year or so and finally it was discovered that I had a bad gallblader so I had surgery to remove it. I was pain free for about 6 months or so and then the pain started back up again in the same place (Right upper quadrant of the stomach). I had an upper GI scope done which showed gastritits (an irritated stomach lining) but no ulcers. I started taking a medication for that and it resolved. Pain remained. The doctors keep trying to push it off as all in my head, but the pain comes only after I eat and uaully it's after dinner. I had one set of elevated liver enzymes and a later Upper GI scope biopsy of the small intestine showed minor abnormalities. My question is... Does anyone have this pain that doctors can't figure out.. or more importantly, has anyone had this and the doctors did figure it out?? They thought maybe Celiac disease or Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction.. anyone with these that had these symptoms??

  • who has pain in the right upper part of the stomach after eating?

Does anyone have trouble with pain in the upper right part of the stomach (right upper quadrant for those who have a medical background). The pain starts after eating and usually after the evening meal. I had my gallbladder out about 4 years ago. This pain is very similar to the pain during a gallbladder attack, but happens almost every evening. Looking for people with a similar problem!
