  • Looking for the name of an old computer game?

This game was from my childhood, I played it back in 2002-2008 era. It was a Motocross game where you raced against other players. I know there were a lot of thos. But here is one detail I remember, you could race on the moon, with less gravity. I believe that map was called Luna. Any help?

  • Christians answer this?

If we were created less than 20,000 years ago, how are we seeing stars 13.7 BILLION light years away?

Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, a light year is the distance light travels in a year. Therefore say we observe a supernova happening 10 million light years away, which has happened, it takes the reaction 10 million years to reach us.

    Can you explain this?

  • Extraterrestrial life speculation?

If intelligent life exists elsewhere do you think they will look close to us?

Based on the current belief that DNA/RNA is the universal building block there doesn't seem to be much other possibilities.

    What do you think?

  • Matter vs antimatter?

Is there a theory or even a popular hypothesis given an estimated ratio of particles of matter vs antiparticles? I know given that anti matter is extremely rare and matter is plentiful that the ration would be incredibly disproportionate but I'm still curious.

  • Mars vs Venus in the early search for life?

Why do you think it is that mars has always had more interest in the quest for extraterrestrial life?

From the ancients to the radio shows of the 40's everyone looked to mars instead of Venus.....

When did they find out Venus was not a tropical planet but a ultra hot planet?

Is there truth to the quote that "life attracts other life" and that there could be microbial life on mars?

  • Energy sources for the future?

What are the best, most efficient and plentiful options?

My personal favorite candidate is dark energy if it is real and we can harness it

  • Space propulsion question?

Theoretically a ship need much less fuel to travel a distance in space than on earth because it has no gravity to overcome, correct?

Also, in the future is supercollider energy for propulsion an option, or isnt there the required elements in space?

  • Warp theory and FTL propulsion?

I've been reading scientific articles on warp theory and some scientists think it is possible. What is the actual real chance of ever developing a FTL propulsion system like a warp drive or hyperdrive? Could it be done one day? and if so, would supercollider energy be a possible way to power it or isnt there the required elements in space?

  • is arming South Korea an option?

Given the North Korea nuclear threat, do you think America giving the much more responsible and sane government of South Korea short range tactical nukes is a viable option?

Bonus question: if North Korea develops the necessary technology and launched a nuke at America, do you think we'd turn Pyongyang into the city of self-adminstered xrays or carry out a conventional nonnuclear counterattack?
