Okay so I've been flirting with this girl for about two months. What do you think is the best way to ask her out? She got her phone taken away, and I don't see her much at school and when I do, she's surrounded by friends (whom I have awkward relations with since I dated one of their friends before). Should I wait for her to be alone or just ask her in front of her friends?

Also, do you think it would be too cliched to ask on Valentine's Day?

Okay, so me and my ex decided to go out again. The reason we broke up before was because she was a bit overreactive over something I did (it wasn't anything bad, relax). Between Saturday and now, she was flirty and sounded like she really liked me. But she just texted me and said she felt awkward going out with me. When bad things happen, you pray to God, correct? Why do you overlook the fact that he's the cause of the bad things? Take the fires in Southern California for example. People are praying to God to stop the fires. But they don't realize that he's the cause. And I don't want any "God will do what is best" crap. What good can leaving 70,000+ people homeless do?

And it's seen as immoral to take rights away because they're gay (like how we see segragation in the 50's now)...?

And please, no answers telling me I'm gay. I'm perfectly straight, and gays are humans and they deserve to be treated like humans. You don't have to be black to be against enslaving black people.

In the 50's, we treated blacks unfairly. We justified that it was because they were black. As a result, they had rights taken away from them.

Now, we have gay people being treated unfairly. They can't marry the person they love because they're gay. Can't you see the resemblence? The gays now are the blacks in the 50's. We say what we did in the 50's was horrible, but we fail to see that this is just as bad.

Why did he sacrifice Jesus when he could just forgive us with a snap of his fingers? I mean, forgiveness is so simple even we humans could do it.

I'm 14 and I just graduated from middle school. The problem is, my girlfriend's a grade lower than me, so we won't see much of each other for about a year. I want to spend some time with her, but my mom's really asian. She thinks that I'm probably gonna have sex with her if we had some alone time. I've matured enough to know that sex isn't everything in a relation. If she ever found out I had a girlfriend, she won't even allow me to hang out with girls anymore. So how can I go to the movies or the park with her and not have my mom know? She has a knack for finding things out. I mean, doesn't it seem funny that I'm going out with the same girl (and sometimes her friends) every week? I can't sneak out or anything. Please help.

I got bored today, so I took a survey on how many people think death metal has no sense of melody whatsoever. Personally, I like death metal, and believe it can be melodic (see Gallery of Suicide and Walk With the Devil In Dreams You Behold (beginning)). You can insult metal all you want, but it'll only show how ignorant you are. I'm not saying if you don't like metal then you're ignorant. Just the people that can't even respect it as music are ignorant. Well, anyways, back to the question. I was extremely surprised. 94/101 people said that death metal is pure crap and nobody in the right mind would listen to it. Are some people these days just that closed-minded?

She says her parents may be getting a divorce. Her mom may also have cancer and will not live for much longer. If that wasn't bad enough, her sister abuses her (works her to death and beats her up). And she was made fun of her whole life (because she's fat). She's at the point of committing suicide. How can I help her?
