An interesting documentary programme showing how groups of people from various countries dealt with different situations with a 'spy' from from their own group trying to make them do dishonest or underhand deeds.

The countries were Britain, Germany, Japan, America and some others.

The British were shown to be the most dishonest and the most drunk and the most likely to be violent.

Any idea's as to the name of the programme and when it was broadcast please?.

Bradley Manning is half British and is held in Quantico Brig, VA.

He was the leaker of 'Collateral Damage' video which exposed the 'Gung Ho' attitude of Apache pilots when they wanted to open fire on Iraqi's. 14 innocent Iraqi's were murdered by the pilot known as 'Crazy Horse' in 2007 and the action was covered up by the US military. Bradley released the encrypted film and other info to Wikileaks.... who have also suffered the wrath of the US military over this issue. At this moment, Bradley Manning is held in a tiny cell (without charge) where he has to strip to his underwear at night. He has to be 'checked' every five minutes during the night "to make sure he is still alive". This is done by calling him and if he does'nt respond, they wake him. This is a form of torture by sleep deprivation. Also, he can only execise for one hour a day by walking figure of eights in another cell.

What are our gutless wonders in Government doing about this!?

He is half British by his Welsh mother who married a US serviceman and he has'nt even had a REQUEST to be visited as a Dual Citizen of Britain/US.

My laptop has two hard discs. They are both 40gb of size and and the 'C' disc is nearly full so I tried to discover where all the space had gone. I cleared Temporary Internet files. Cleared the 'Cache'. Transferred the Desktop to a stick. Uninstalled unwanted programmes and I was left with only 750mb 'free'.

I then went into 'My Computer' and opened up 'C' drive. Sure enough it was showing only 750mb of 'free' space. I double clicked to open it up and was presented with four folders. I right clicked on each and waited (because sometimes it takes a few seconds or minutes for the true 'bittage' to show). The only one to show GB's was the 'Users' folder which was showing 20.3 GB's used. I then right clicked on each folder inside and then clicked on 'properties' to make it show each sub folders value in 'space'. Most of the folders onle had a few hundred kb's or a few mb's and only one had Gb's. This one was 'Win32' which showed only 4.97Gb.

This means that (apart for a few GB's already accounted for) , in the 'Users' folder alone...I have lost 15GB's!!. I still cannot find the other 20GB's in 'C'. !!!???

Where has all this space gone??

I've just listened to a song by Enya which I have never heard before. Its from the Amarantine album made in the 1980's and I have never heard anything so beautifully sung. I watched it on YouTube and the best version is by Oslo87 which has a fluffy cloud in the shape of a heart. I preferred this one because of the heartrending messages placed by posters. Really, really sad. really, really beautiful!

I think it should be listened to by ANYONE who has lost someone.

I remember an LP (I thought by ELO) in 1972, the cover of which had a surrealistic picture of a woman with a shaved head and light bulbs on the end of chords coming out of her head.

Can anyone remember who this was by?. I thought it was ELO but have looked at all their album covers and its not there.

I want to buy several of those lighting panels that are made up of square holes. You can buy them from America but where are they in Britain?. They are normally plastic and come in various colours (mainly white and chrome effect) and have 10-30mm hollow squares. They are about 25-50mm deep and come in sheets or panel from 600mm x 600mm to 1200mm x 1200mm.

My other half arrived home from work last week with a small 'slug trail' on her black trousers. As we have had serious problems in the past regarding her popularity with her male colleagues, I was immediately suspicious. I said nothing but, later on when we went to bed I noticed two small circular marks on her stomach about 6" apart at about belt level. She said she had felt very hot and sweaty during the day and was scratching the area and "must have scratched myself". Next morning I looked closely at them and they showed two small half moon shaped marks ...but not scratchmarks as you would normally describe them.

It later transpired that 'chief suspect' had been at her branch that same day.

Is it time to go?

I reinstalled Windows XP recently. I faintly remember during the installation exercise being asked which drive I wanted to use as Primary (giving two choices) and as I have never reinstalled before I inadvertantly chose D:. It turns out that D: is 5GB and is full now and I can't change it to C: I always thought that they were shared out equally.

Help please, you experts.

Thank you for your help in finding out where some of the the 'lost' disk space has gone.

Switching off Sytem restore gained 3.5GB

Disc Cleaner gained another 2.2GB

Recycle Bin gained another 4.2GB

However, I have still 'lost' 21GB!?

I realise that there are system files and programmes taking up some room....but not 21GB.

There are no huge picture, music or video files.

So, where is it??

I have a laptop with two drives ( C: originally with 40 gb memory and D: with 40 gb memory)

On C: disk I have only 7 gb free!!

I have hovered over the various folders etc in the partition but can't find the missing Gigs.

Please help.

I have received an £80.00 'supplement' penalty for "failing to retax or SORN" my vehicle. This is despite sending back the SORN declaration to DVLA six weeks prior stating my vehicle is off the road. They say I should have contacted them after four weeks if I had'nt received an 'acknowledgement letter'. This 'acknowledgement letter' declares that they have received your notification and everything is ok.

Wait a minute!!! I have done as they required!

"Oh no" they say. "We have'nt received it, therefore, it is assumed you did'nt send it. In any case, you should have have contacted us after four weeks". "Is that so?" says I. "Yes" says she. "There is a telephone number on the back of the form that advises you to contact us if you have'nt received the acknowlegement letter".

"Is that the form I sent back to you six weeks ago?" I dared ask.

"Yes" she replied, "But you should have written the number down"

"But I was'nt expecting it to get lost" says I.

"Does'nt matter" she said, "We did'nt receive it and the penalty is computer generated"

"Does the computer know how or why it was lost?, I asked.

"Don't know and it does'nt matter, we did'nt receive it therefore, the £80.00 'supplement' becomes payable!".

It used to be that you could watch most Premiership games on Sopcast courtesy of at least one of the many sports channels they make available to view. Now, only a few Premiership matches are available on a new channel called 'Tiansheng European Football'......who?, but this channel does'nt come up on the 'Sports Channels Available' on Sopcasts list. Whats happening?

Some of the answers were interesting but the meaning was missed. The intention was to make people aware of what is going to happen in this country in the near future. This will be a future when you dare'nt say, or write, anything which may offend the hardline Muslims.....and I mean ONLY Muslims!. Muslims alone, are forcing, slowly but surely, what was otherwise a reasonably tolerant country, into a bunch of silent cringers. These vociferous Muslim hardliners rely on our laws to protect them... but at the same time, preach hatred towards us 'Infidels'. Anyone who saw the recent demonstrations in London with signs saying " Nazi Police!".. " Kill the non believers!" etc., know what I mean. THEY DO NOT WANT TO INTEGRATE!. They just want to spread their barbaric religion. When they become the majority and take power in this country, you will then see many similar situations to that in Sudan. By then, It will be too late. Trust me.... I am the prophet John.

It appears that certain names are now a crime.

I know it happened in another 'country', however, how long before it happens here?. Is it really possible for mentally deranged religious fanatics gaining power in this country?.

We booked a budget holiday with Thomas Cook and we will NEVER travel with them again!! First they robbed us of £60.00 for being 10kgs 'overweight' (between three) from their miserly 15kgs limit. We were curtly told that "you have choices"...1. " you can offload 10kgs of contents from your suitcases!". 2. "you can leave a suitcase behind!". 3. "you can pay £60.00!". When we asked where we could put the contents ,or the suitcase,. we were curtly told ..."in a secure locker at Terminal 2!".......we were in Terminal 1 at Manchester airport and Terminal 2 was half a mile away!!.

When we got on the plane , legroom did'nt exist!. The reclining seat moved back 50mm. The ENDLESS loud advertising on the TV screens would'nt even allow you to read your magazine in peace. The sales trolleys were always blocking the aisles from five minutes after takeoff till five minutes before we landed (both ways). The Loo queues were long and people waited up to 15mins. UGGGGGHHHHH!!!
