I have a panasonic nv-ds65a video camera.

I would like to upload some video onto my computer.

The camera has a dv socket (like on a digital camera) and socket that plugs a phonestype plug in that says"to PC" This I use to view my recordings onto tv thru the rca on tv.

I beleive I need to use the dv socket and connect that to a IEEE364 port on my computer. First I would have to buy a lead? Then how would the computer start to upload it?

Im on depession tablets and have been for a while.

For a few years now I have been finding it really hard to stay awake.

When i drive home from work I fall asleep at the wheel momentarily. (Not good I know)

When I come home I just wanna lye down on the couch. If I do I fall asleep within a minute.

Is my depression the cause of this or may I have another problem?

When you look up the word sabbath in Hebrew (shabbath), old testiment it seems to always mean festivals like what are written in leviticus.

Where as the sabbath in greek (sabbaton), new testiment means the seventh day each week.

Why does there seem to be no where in the old teseiment that describes the sabbath as being the seventh day of each week.

It would make life so much easier when debating about the bible

I have never really understood why Jesus had to come and die to take our sins away.

Wasn't the mistake by adam and eve. Just because we are long distant relations to them why should we have to be saved because of what they did?

Why couldn't God save them then and there and from then on man have no sin.

It seems to me that we have to work at being a christian. Would it not be better to live life as you wish. Im sure if God had corrected it back then we would be all different people now.

I emailed a jewish rabbi to ask if he new if the sabbath was first introduced before mt sinai. (As seventh day adventists believe)

Someone put it to me recently that he believes the world to be millions of years old.

There is scientific evidence to proof it. Apparently.

I guess if you think about it it could work.

In Genisis it says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty"

Maybe this is a few million years between these verses and this next verse.

"And God said, "Let there be light..."

This could be when God starts to 'dress' the earth with light, water, people, animals etc.

Alot of people believe that the ten commandments were part of the old covenant fulfilled (taken away) BUT.

Maybe what the real meaning is that, the actual covenant was taken away, The written covenant between God and His people.

Maybe the object of the 10 commandments (tablets of stone)were never taken way.

I.e. If I sold me car to you i would write a contract. The car of course is the tablets of stone and the contract is the covenant. It could be said that the sale never goes through so the contract is destroyed. The car still remains.

So maybe infact the 10 commandments are still around today??

Me and some friends are wanting to start to research from the bible alone about the old and new covenants.

I have heard two theories regarding the covenant and I want to find out which is true, so do my friends.

Is Jesus telling us we must obey the commandments to have eternal life? ( I assume he means the 10 commandments)

Why are the commandments even mentioned by Jesus when indeed Jesus is saying you can not have eternal life by works or worldly riches?

I have a few cordyline red stars that I planted in August 2006. I have one die and two more are looking a bit sad.

The leaves look like they are being eaten. I was told that slugs attack them. Could this be true. I put slug bait out but they have got worse. Do they like wet feet or dry feet?

Hi. I have been brought up mainly in the seventh day adventist church.

As some of you may know the adventists believe strongly in end time events. Mainly that sabbath is going to be the undelying point of Gods people. That sunday law will be brought in and people will be made to worship on Sunday. Therefore Gods people will be persecuted for not worshiping on Sunday.

My question is to those other christians.

Do other denominations have a theory/prophesy/ bible interpretation of the end time when Jesus returns. (the book of revelation)

A mate has told me about the new covenant and how the 10 commandments were taken away at the cross. Hence no sabbath day. I ask him about end time events and he says it doesn't matter.

I believe revelation does talk about Gods people will be persecuted.

I have been studying with a mate today Gen 2:2,3.

We have been using blue letter bible and have come up with a theory that god made the word in 6 days

verse 2 "and he rested" in hebrew 'tense' means the mood was imperfect or incomplete.

Whereas when you go to verse 3"that in it he had rested" in hebrew 'tense' means mood perfect or completed action.

In other words my mate reckons that between verse 2 and 3 there could be a time frame of 2400 years to the time of Moses recieving the laws of the covernant.

Sorry if this sounds heavy, It still is a bit hard for me to understand.

I have been trying to study about the new covenant.

My faith is that I have been a sabbath keeper (saturday) for most of my life.

I have just been confronted with various texts from the bible from a mate at work.

My question is how can we truely know from scripture (undoubtedly) that by Jesus dying on the cross he only took away the ceremonial (mosaic) laws and not the 10 commandments and visa versa.

Please supply bibel references to back up your statements.
