  • Transferring Hard Drives between computers.?

I have has a Dell Inspiron 1545 for about 6 years. I have recently had to replace the computer for a Dell Inspiron 15 1500 Series. Am I able to take the hard drive out of the old Dell and successfully transfer it into my new laptop? I know I can buy an enclosure to make it an external, but with all the programs that are on my old computer, it would be much easier transferring the hard drives than downloading everything again.

  • Can I get information about this Ring?

I am going to try to explain this ring as best as possible. I have a ring that I am trying to get more information on. The ring looks like it is made out of silver, maybe it is just plated. The front of the ring contains 3 vertical columns of turquoise. The only mark on the ring is on the inside of the band. It looks like two bear paws pointing down. Each paw has two toes pointing down, along with a raised part. I am almost certain that it is a Native American piece. Can anybody give me information about this ring????

  • Do Casinos in Paris Sell Playing Cards?

I am somewhat of a playing card enthusiast. Every time someone I know goes places (especially Las Vegas) they always bring me home a deck of playing cards. I am pretty sure I have a deck from every casino in Vegas. Well, my parents are going out of town to Paris soon and I was curious if anybody knew if the casinos in Paris sell their old/used playing cards the way casinos in Vegas do.

  • Help with Parametric Equations?

    I am trying to convert the Cartesian equation x^2 - 2y^2 + 2x + 4y = 4. I got it down to ((x+1)^2)/3 - (2(y-1)^2)/3 = 1. I know that the next step is sin(x)^2 + cos(x)^2 = 1. However, the coefficients are throwing me off. Can anybody help with the the next step?????

  • Do you think Chipper Jones will be a HOFer?

What will be his fate when he is eligible to be in the HOF? Some of his stats include: .300+ career BA, 400+ HR, almost 1500 RBI's, almost 2500 hits, almost 500 2B's, and .500+ SLG. On top of that, he is a switch hitter. He is one of the greatest switch hitter, behind only Mickey Mantle (IMO). Is this a strong enough resume to be in the hall???

I have owned a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube for about a week now. The worst thing has happened to me. One of my centers has snapped. I am trying to figure out if there is anybody who is willing to sell me one or two of them. Or, if anybody knows of a website, please let me know. I looked at all the websites that I knew of. I am willing to pay about $1.50 to $2.00 a piece plus I will pay for a stamp to ship them. Please, if anybody has any information, let me know.

  • What is this table game at casinos?

I have only seen this a few times. I have seen on television what looks like a version of roulette and I would like to know what it is. Basically, instead of the normal roulette felt, there is a table with plastic areas to bet. They light up underneath the table to see the winning spaces. I think this is used with dice. Has anybody either seen this game or knows what it is called?

What is the average cost to put bowling alleys in one's home? Also, does a Tenpin bowling alley cost more than say a Candlestick bowling alley, than a duckpin bowling alley?

  • Boston Area Adult Arcade?

I was just wondering if anyone knows of an adult arcade (like Dave and Busters for example) from the Boston, Massachusetts area. I used to live in that area (Topsfield if that is of importance). I am trying to bring back childhood memories. I think the name of is something like Andys or something like that. The only thing that I can remember about the place is that there was a big pool hall and by the pool hall was a giant Alien statue that scared the crap out of me. The time period that I am talking about is around 1994-5. If anyone has any information...this would be greatly appreciated.
