For whatever reason, my spayed four year old female cat keeps spraying my mom's things. It's only my mom's stuff and I'm trying to get an explanation on why she does it and a solution to the problem.

I've read that because of a potentially harmful effect of the mutation of the cartilage in their ears, they can't be pure bred.

I have two kittens. One has never used anything other than the litterbox. The other one has random litterbox issues. The first time, it was pooping. She stopped and now if I don't keep her locked up, she goes and pees on my mom's bed. Could there be something wrong? I clean the litterbox everday and completely change the litter every other day. So I'm confused.... Just a picky kitty?
