Does condition affect silver value?
Hello
I have been looking all over the internet for this information but I have gotten into collecting silver coins to invest in silver. While I know that condition affects the intrinsic value of the coin, I am wondering if the condition affects the actual melt value?
3 AnswersInvesting9 years agowhat is the meaning of water in a dream?
Hey there... I had a weird dream that started off with me sitting in a classroom while some 9-10 year old boy was giving a speech about who he was an where he was born. Next thing I know I'm in a river and two strangers hand me a baby to hold on to. The river starts to swell, and so I get onto a sandbar, only to find the ocean rising from the other side. I eventually am surrounded on all four sides by water but before the water actually reaches me I wake up. Anyone know what to make of this?
3 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agodoes anyone believe Haggards wife?
Would she actually be naive enough to be married to a man for 30 years, be told he had some feelings for men early on, and believe that she prayed the gay away? I would not be surprised if he had more flings than the two publicly noted and was sleeping around with men all along.
6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agohow come the confederate generals weren't executed?
These men were traitors to the United States of America and should've been summarily executed for their actions. They were traitors and slavedrivers, not heroes. Likewise the Confederate veterans who requested pensions as rewards for their treason should've been lined up and shot. Their shameful past should've been kept in the dustbin of history, not celebrated.
6 AnswersHistory1 decade agohow can anyone be sexist?
I mean I saw a particularly anti-male rant by a woman on this board and I think to myself how can anyone be sexist? I mean were it not for men, women wouldn't be here and without women there'd be no men. Whether we're male or female, half of us comes from the parent of the opposite gender. we should acknowledge this fact and have mutual respect for one another.
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agois it possible evolution has it all wrong?
What if instead of evolving from simpler life forms into more complex life forms, it was the other way around and humans, rather than being the end result of evolution, actually turn out to be the least evolved. It seems the stupider you are, the more content you are with your little world so perhaps religious fanatics instead of being a hindrance to the advancement of mankind are possibly in the process of dumbing themselves down to single cell organisms.

3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs Israel a Legitimate State?
One thing has irked me for a long time. Whenever we hear on the news about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, it's always slanted. I am not Jewish and I am not Muslim but here's how I look at it. Israel is not a legitimate state. It owed its existence, it's origins to Jewish Zionists who wished to make Biblical prophesy come true. They had the delusion of this being their homeland, completely overlooking the fact that Muslims had been the majority population for well over a 1000 years beforehand. These Zionists took advantage of British imperialism seizing land taken by force and setting up their own settlement. Their whole plan from the start was that of exclusion of Muslims for fear of losing their grand vision of a Jewish govt to a Muslim majority.
Now 1948 is commonly associated with the founding of Israel. Anti-semitism remained strong in Europe even after the Holocaust and WWII, and it was exacerbated by the fact that many ppl had financial incentives to make sure the Jews never came back. Instead of doing the honorable thing by reclaiming stolen Jewish houses and property and addressing Anti-Semitism, they found a real convenient escape valve by dumping them off in Israel. Armed with the significant political capitol of the Nuremburg Trials and the Allied self-appreciation as the great saviors of the Jewish people, the Israelis utilized this to get the best military training and state of the art military equipment to disenfranchise Palestinians and create their "country".
I must say though that Israel will not last as long as it pursues the policies it follows now. The only thing keeping them where they are is military might and powerful allies, two things that don't last forever.
15 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoshould we re-institute anti-Irish sentiment?
I mean the Irish haven't been suppressed recently and I think it's been long overdue that we rekindle the Irish bashing of the 1800s. I am part Irish and so I want to be a victim. I am actually more Slovak but all they're known for is chain smoking and laundering money thru dog tracks. What do you guys say? Screw the Irish! Screw me and my family!

24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowhy are people asking questions about the black national anthem?
I am a white person and I can say who gives a crap? I mean songs that originated out of the struggle for freedom and civil rights are more legitimate than the flags of a secessionist government.
8 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agowho argues slavery wasnt the cause of the civil war?
Say whatever you want if there is no slavery, there is no Civil War.
Alexander Stephens, the VP and one of the writers of this abominable document, even stated in his famous Cornerstone Speech: "The new constitution has put at rest, forever, all the agitating questions relating to our peculiar institution—African slavery as it exists amongst us—the proper status of the (deragatory term for blacks) in our form of civilization. This was the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution."
13 AnswersHistory1 decade agoAnyone have crazy family legends? Were they correct or incorrect?
Hey guys, Just curious as to who may have some wild family stories, whether true or false. I've had a long-time story in my family about African genealogy but found out my deceased grandpa was not talking about direct ancestry but that one of his cousins married a black girl lol.

right now, although Bowden has the slight edge, owing to the circumstances I'd say Paterno will finish with more. Provided he doesn't die before the season starts.
