Whats the point of going to college?
Really whats the point? I just graduated college and got hired right away making 65k.....But what's the point if all that money goes away in taxes, rent, bills, etc...?
I come from a low income family and we used to get food stamps, the government would pay our rent which was $1300+, you get free health insurance, you get free gas, basically everything is free if you make below a certain amount so any money you make is clean and you pay very little taxes.
Not that I make 65k I have to pay 1400+ in rent, health insurance premiums for dental vision and insurance, $100s of dollars in food every week, pay back loans I took in college....and at the end of the day I'm in the same or worse situation I was when I was poor......So what wa the point of me wasting 4 years in college?
It seems like the US system is designed to encourage you to be poor.

Why did we allow our government to appoint
Michael R. Taylor a former top executive, lawyer and lobbyist with biotech giant Monsanto Co. when Monsanto has been responsible for so many atrocious thing to human life???
They stand for the complete opposite of what the FDA is supposed to be. Its like hiring a long time criminal to be a police officer.
1 AnswerPolitics7 years agoI see a lot of people complaining about illegal immigrants being freeloaders but....?
What about all the aid we give to israel and get nothing in return? BILLIONS OF FREE MONEY for a first world nation that can certainly handle things on its own and doesn't need any money from us.....
Can it really be called a relationship when one side is the one giving it all? .....or are they just freeloaders like the mexicans?....
Also why are we american citizens encouraged to donate to Israeli settlers oppressors occupying Palestinian lands?
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/06/world/middleeast...
Really how is this "relationship" with israel helping us in any way other than taking money away from tax payers and getting nothing in return?
Why is israel not helping us fight ISIS? aren't they outr only ally in the middle east? why don't they help us in the middle east?
Why are they helping terrorists in the middle east?
i.e: :
Christof Lehmann (nsnbc),- An Austrian military officer who worked within the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the Israeli occupied Syrian Golan Highs revealed to the Palestinian newspaper Al-Manaar, that Israel is providing large-scale support for the armed terrorist groups in Syria.

9 AnswersCurrent Events7 years agoif you religious people think abortion is killing no matter how old the embryo is then?
Then are in fertility clinics that help infertile people with in vitro fertilization to produce "test tube babies" killing camps? They often discard excess embryos since they produce more fertilized eggs than needed for pregnancy.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoIllegal immigrants take our jobs?
Sure because so many americans want shitty jobs mowing lawns and cleaning the dishes at restaurants and being maids and housekeepers.....if people for example hired a legal person to do those shitty jobs they would have to pay more and would end up paying less to the higher paying jobs and then you would complain you dont get paid enough money so they're actually doing you a favor

6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy does religion allow people to imagine that their concerns are moral when they are highly immoral?
Religion allows people to imagine that their concerns are moral when they are not—that is, when they have nothing to do with suffering or its alleviation. Indeed, religion allows people to imagine that their concerns are moral when they are highly immoral—that is, when pressing these concerns inflicts unnecessary and appalling suffering on innocent human beings.
This explains why Christians like yourself expend more "moral" energy opposing abortion than fighting genocide. It explains why you are more concerned about human embryos than about the lifesaving promise of stem-cell research. And it explains why you can preach against condom use in sub-Saharan Africa while millions die from AIDS there each year.

1 example-slavery
the entired civilized world now agrees that slavery is an abomination
what moral instruction do we get from the god of Abraham on the topic? ........
Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
