MySpace 2.0 is very different from the old one and you need code just to get the correct pixel width ... I've got the width I want, but MySpace has now shifted everything over to the left ... how do I now center my code?

For some reason, while trying to open an exe file in BitTorrent, I was asked to use a program to open the exe that was downloaded ... so I chose BitTorrent, but now, all my exe files, including Firefox, Microsoft Word, even my recovery options in control panel attempt to open these programs as torrents ... how can I fix this?

How do I run this from command prompt? I've already used the e: dir command to show the file, but how do I execute or run this?

Is there anyway to access a program or exe. off my flashdrive while in command prompt?

If I burn to a CD, how would I access the disc drive from command prompt?

My computer, a Dell Desktop with the AMD 64 athlon X2 and Windows Vista, will not start. It began as a random restart of my computer, but it immediately pulled up the Startup Recovery blue screen.

I don't have the Windows Vista disc to reinstall this (it was already on my computer) and I don't have any restore points available, other than the factory restore setting. I would have Dell fix it, but my warranty has expired.

Is there anything I can run in command prompt or anything I can download to a flash drive and access via command prompt on this desktop? What are my options?

Is there any way I can use a USB cable or since we share the same network, to transfer files off my desktop computer to my laptop?

My desktop is having an error when it tries to start and does nothing past the Startup Recovery Issue ...I want to be able to save my files without having to install my hard drive somewhere, becuase I have no experience in doing so, nor do I have anywhere else to install it.

I am having a startup failure on my Dell Dimenson E51 desktop, with Windows Vista OS ... I regularly use Spybot, CCleaner, and Windows Defender to keep my computer in check ... but over the past week, I've downloaded the following programs-

StopZilla was installed today and when my iTunes wouldn't start, I initiated restart ... and my computer wouldn't restart. I've also attempted system restore, but each restore has failed to complete.

I've tried every option, with the exception of complete factory restore (which is beyond even a last resort option for me.)

Is there anything I can try at C prompt or other things I might could try? I have a flash drive that I could use, but I dunno how to access it without getting into Vista.

I have been having a lot of issues with my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 ... I really have no idea what's wrong with it and I just don't have the money to just have a mechanic rip me off ...

The truck will not start. Sometimes, I have a bit of luck with it ... Its almost like the spark in the plugs isn't hot enough ... it should be firing hard, just popping a spark, but it doesn't ... I've changed the fuel filter, the fuel pump is nearly new (not less than two years old) and I've had so many theories from different people, some who say it is an ignition issue, some who say its a MAS air flow sensor issue (changing that out didn't do any good), etc.

I don't know where to start diagnosing this ... even the battery is new. I am an idiot (nearly) when it comes to technical issues on an engine ... any ideas?

For some time now, my truck, a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado (1500 V6) has had an issue starting. However, a mechanic friend of mine recently said he discovered the issue- being the mass air flow sensor. It seemed to help it start like its supposed to, but when it would be disconnected, the truck would idle up and when reattached, it'd idle down.

However, after all that, disconnecting the sensor has had little to no effect on my truck's cranking. I have a replacement sensor, but I hate to spend the money on replacing it if its not the true issue at hand.

What gets me is that it feels like the spark plugs aren't firing hot enough- instead of a popping blue flame, it is a weaker, yellowish flame that shoots out. I have an ignition replacement part as well, but again, I hate to replace something that isn't the true cause.

Any suggestions? Does it sound like an air-flow sensor problem?

I tried to enter my serial number at Apple.com, but it says that the number is invalid.

This was submerged in water in a washing machine ... the green light on the power button still comes on, but when I push the play button, the light doesn't come on. I don't want to connect it to an USB or headphones, for fear of shorting something out ...

Is there anything I can do?

I am a 27 year old with no previous health condition, no hernia, etc. However, while making love with my wife, I felt a bit of pain in my left testicle during and after intercourse. There was no precedent to this, no action that could have provoked it, to my knowledge. However, afterwards, it felt as if I had been struck in the scrotum.

Now, the pain is radiating out of my left testicle into my stomach, especially when I sit with any pressure on it. I don't have any knots or indications of any sort of physical ailment, other than the pain ... what should I do? I'd hate to go to the ER over 'testicle pain.'

Had this come up in a new window whilst browsing, should I be concerned?

It usually comes up while playing any type of video or music in Firefox ... I have the 3.0.8 edition of Firefox, so I'm unsure of how to remedy this ...

I have several deep holes in my yard, each about the size of a garden hose ... some I know are crayfish mounds, because of the mud towers over them, but some are bare at the top, slant at an angle, and while filling them with water today, discovered that they must be VERY deep.

I just want to make sure I don't have snakes burrowing in the ground in my yard ...

I know the car needs a new catalytic converter, as this one has been blowing oxygen sensors in the past, but after its setup for sometime, it now has a loud clicking sound (I say clicking, because it doesn't sound like metal against metal), when its in park and in neutral, coming from the back of the motor. When it is in drive or reverse, the sound isn't there ...

I dunno where to start looking for the source of the problem, whether its a catalytic converter issue or transmission issue ... any ideas?

When my truck wouldn't crank tonight, my neighbor suggested using some Starter Fluid in the distributor .... so when we tried that, the fluid caught on fire. Then, salt was dumped all over my engine and into my distributor to put the fire out (personally would have used water) ...

I don't see any melted or burned wires or cables, etc, but is the salt a major issue? (It was a lot of it!)

We are a young couple, who moved in a rental house back in September of 2008. The landlord told us we could rent through the fiscal school year (my wife is a teacher) and that he would apply the rent towards the principal on the house, so if at the end of the school year, we could buy if we wanted to. (Although none of this was expressed in our agreement.)

However, in December, our landlord was asked by another tenant of his if he had a house for sale- and he recommended the house we are currently in. After this sale went through, he began to actively market the house, even putting a 'For Sale' sign in the yard. He states that he did not anticipate the cost of insurance and everything on the house and wanted the cost off his back.

Now, even though our credit has prevented us from purchasing the home, we are paid on rent, on time, as always, but he is still selling the house out from under us. I don't know what choices I have- not only that, but if he does have a buyer, I don't know my rights as a tenant as to how long I have to move, etc.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Most PC cleanups like AVG require you to buy the program to fix a majority of issues ... is there one that is free and cleans up everything wrong with your computer? Just curious, those of us on a tight budget can't afford a new computer and can't really afford to pay for these softwares.
