i've been playing the flute for a while now and i noticed that when i take it out of the case, it has tarnish on it. after im done cleaning my flute i always wipe it off with a cleaning cloth. what should i do?

I have a chocolate lab puppy who's about 8 months old. Whenever we pull out of our driveway she goes on the road and chases our car. One time she was just inches away from getting hit by an oncoming car. Today I accidentally hit her, but I slammed on my brakes just in time and the car only bumped her back leg and she's doing fine now. What should I do about her road problems??
