Guy
Creationists argue that the universe is perfect and therefore must have been designed by a creator...?
But that creator is perfect too so must have been designed also, so where did God come from?
Let me predict answers like "you shouldn't ask questions like that, blasphemy!" but you don't think twice before ridiculing people by asking what happened before the big bang and insinuating that God must have done it.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoQuestion for religious followers.?
Does anyone truly believe the Earth was formed in 7 days?
If not, why dismiss that part of the bible as not being literal but everything else you believe.. One other thing is that Moses story with the burning bush on Mt Sinai. I've been to Mt Sinai and climbed it also, guess how many trees are on that mountain... none, not one. It's completely rock with no vegetation.. I'm guess that story is also not literal?
Seems very convenient.

What is their connection and which do you think is more important or higher up in terms of hierarchy.
4 AnswersMythology & Folklore9 years agoReligious question on the probability of us ever being able to co-exist in real peace?
Will there evere be a point in time where we all get along? I believe religion divided us and continues to do so. But I'd like to hear your thoughts on whether you think your religion has benefitted to the peace on Earth.
Christianity has very strong links to child molestation, scientific repression and the crusades against others such as muslims but then Islam has equally strong links to holy wars where the aim is to cause death to non believers and so called "honour killings" within there own families.
Do you believe this will always be the case?
I want some good answered here to give me hope!
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy do religious people keep stating that evolution is just a theory?
So it's a common term "the theory of evolution" but it's anything but a theory.
There is so much evidence of it, it's like saying "the theory of the Earth being a sphere" - no, it isn't JUST a theory, it WAS a theory when the late, great Charles Darwin explained it, but not any more. Living things must compete to survive FACT, and the ones that are lucky enough to be born with advantageous parts will no doubt succeed in their competition to survive. (e.g. Giraffes evolved their long necks over millions of years because those ones with longer necks were able to reach more food and therefore survived to pass on their DNA.. over time there are more with longer necks than short.)
I know this won't change any religious minds but I just wanted to let them know they sound really daft when they use it in their arguments, and how ironic it is that one minute they say evolution is JUST A THEORY, then turn around and put complete faith in, err, another theory, albeit one with NO EVIDENCE. Then make themselves feel smug by saying "it's all about faith" just believe and open your heart to God... it makes me cringe every time.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy are there so many people that believe in religion? Surely we are not that stupid.?
I understand people being religious in the past before we had any scientific evidence of how we came to be, but now there is no excuse! It's a shame that religion is even contemplated these days.. Will we ever learn? Seriously this is embarrassing.. I'm glad we haven't met any other intelligent lifeforms, they would think we are a bunch of imbeciles.
The only reasons I've ever heard from religious people are pathetic.. Not one of them has ever tried to understand the scientific truth in an open minded way but on the contrary many scientific people (myself included) have read the bible and have given years to understanding religion before making our minds up.. I just don't understand why the majority of the population have their minds set on religious dribble.. it's so frustrating.
I'd like answers from religious people, just to prove how inadequate your answers are... come on, spread the word, god, or whoever you worship will love you more for trying.
