  • How can I put graphics or photos on Facebook?

My hubby puts any photos I ask him to on my Facebook page but he can't explain it to me. Previous answers said graphics can't be put on but I have seen some on there. The person who put them would not respond on how they did it...selfish twit.Wondering if it is that FB doesn't accept codes? I just can't understand why photos can get on and not graphics. If you can help me on this I appreciate it.

  • What is a good working herb for sleeplessness?

I have a lot of problems getting to sleep before midnight. Am too tired to really do much for about 3 to 4 hours before I finally get to sleep. Doctors have given me many many different prescriptions but they all make me like a zombie the next day, even on a low dose. So wondering if anyone has had any herbal help with getting to sleep.

  • What Book You Think Should be Made Into a Movie?

I have no idea where one can suggest books to be made into movies but I have read several I would like to see on film. One is The Prophetess by Barbara Wood. It is about a female archaeologist who unearths some ancient scrolls and is pursued by unscrupulous people who want to get them from her. She flees them as they have tracked her on her phone and computer but she cleverly outwits them and tries to translate the scrolls.

  • Why So Much Depression these Days?

I am wondering mainly if Sociology people have or are studying why there seems to be so much depression in people this decade. We have such freedoms, food, help in so many areas more than back in the 'olden' days. When I was young prolonged depression was something to see a psychiatrist or counselor about. Now days I hear it's some chemical imbalance....well what causes that? Does the emotion cause it or does the imbalance cause the depression? I am talking mainly about younger people; I think perhaps older people get depressed due to the trials and tribulations of being old.

  • Anyone know of an affordable house security system?

Have been married 31 years and until after Hurricane Ike never had things stolen. Since Ike so many things have been stolen...could have been the necessary hired help, don't really know. The police can't do anything about it. Can you suggest an affordable security system? The few I heard about are outrageous monthly.

  • Why My Windows Media Player Doesn't Play?

Friends & family have sent me videos that play when opened on Windows Media Player. All of a sudden they don't play from anyone. Any suggestions? If this is something I need to delete from my computer and reload from somewhere, I would not want to lose all the music files I have on this program.

  • Good Helpful Household Tips for Seniors?

As I got older found I needed to make things easier, even in small ways. I put scissors, paper & pen in every room so I don't have to walk elsewhere to get them. I set things beside a doorway until I have a bunch instead of walking so much here, there, and yon to put things away.I set up a 'coffee' center on the counter in the kitchen with the pot, creamer, sugar, spoons in a cup. I got a second 3 wheel walker for in the house so I can leave the other one in the van. I put new recipes in photo albums. I got those small pop-up phone address books for main numbers to put by each phone.

Any tips you have will be appreciated.

  • What Comfort is there when most all older relatives have died?

My Dad and all my many aunts & uncles have died. I still miss them and it feels really creepy knowing they are no longer on this earth to see or talk to. My many cousins, nieces and nephews hardly stay in touch and that makes me feel weird.

Just wondering how others cope with things like this.

  • If You Visit the Departed at a Cemetery What Do You Do There?

As a child my grandparents regularly visited the family departed and took fresh garden flowers on most every holiday or a Saturday. There was no perpetual care so they took a lawnmower, weeded, and raked leaves up.

  • Ladies, Do You Remember Your Wedding Dress?

I designed my first wedding dress, bridemaids dresses and hats. Mine was white with a sweetheart neckline and lots of beads and sequins on it. There was a seamstress who could make anythng she saw a picture or drawing of. The bridemaids dresses were yellow roses on organza over a skirt with big hats to match.

My second wedding dress was a beige dress with a long skirt and cost $35.

  • Where you get help for your computer?

I have just been on here 2 years and learning all the time. My brother can remote assist to fix things and give advice about downloading new programs. He found me a free security check most everything I can run from the desktop every day. Without him I could not be on here.

I go to Tech Support Guy for computer help and information sometimes too.

Most everyone I know my age ( I am 71) do not want to have a computer or use the internet.
