I am a man living in the uk. I enjoy talking to people about almost anything and like making new friends.
What is the position regarding inheritance in these circumstances?
My family and I live in a house owned by my in laws. They have stated that in the event of their death the house goes to my husband and in the event of his death to our children. I always thought that it is up to the husband or wife who inherits their estate and that this cannot be decided by another. I don't exactly get on with my mother in law and could imagine her asking me to leave the house if my husband died. If anyone can advise me I'd appreciate it very much.
6 AnswersLaw & Legal8 years agoDoes anyone know of a supplement for hypertension that actually works.?
I'm on loads of prescribed drugs that seem pretty ineffective. Please don't reply if you are just trying to sell a product, unless you can produce clinical evidence that it works.
Thanks
3 AnswersOther - Health & Beauty1 decade agoAny ideas why my HP Deskjet D2460 doesn't print.?
The printer is nearly new and has always worked properly until today. The connecting cables seem to be OK and nothing (as far as I can tell) has changed since yesterday. It is switched on. Every time I try to print it tells me there are items in a queue. Nothing will print though.
Any advice/guidance is very much appreciated.

6 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoSub Arachnoid Cyst- How serious is the health risk?
I was diagnosed with a sub arachnoid cyst about five years ago. I initially saw a consultant neurosurgeon four times a year. This has reduced over time to twice a year.
I experience no symptoms whatsoever and was told that unless it starts to affect my vision no action will be taken.
I have read quite a lot about arachnoid cysts, some of it quite disturbing. I have a somewhat large head with a slightly prominent forehead. What are the health risks
1 AnswerOther - Diseases1 decade agoLeft Ventricular Hypertrophy. Is this a serious condition?
I recently experienced some chest pains and consequently attended the A&E department of the local hospital. I under went a series of tests and was told everything was ok except I have a mild case of left ventricular hypertrophy.
For several months I have been receiving treatment for hypertension. This remains high at approximately 150 over 90, despite the fact I am taking four different types of medication. My mum and dad both had hypertension.
I run regularly and have completed four marathons. Should I be very concerned, am I worrying too much and is it advisable for me to run? I couldn't really get a definitive answer from my GP.
20 AnswersHeart Diseases1 decade agoWhy have sanctions been imposed upon Iran for it's nuclear energy programme?
I don't understand how the UN can justify sanctions upon Iraq yet other countries are alowed to pretty much do as they wish.
What (in the opinion of the UN), makes it acceptable for some countries to have nuclear energy/weapons technology and for others (to have it) unacceptable?
22 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoI have hypertension that is not responding to medication. Advice please.?
I am currently taking Perindopril and Felodipine for hypertension. I visited my Gp this morning. My blood pressure was 190/95. I've been taking these drugs for nearly ten months. My doctor has now prescribed a diuretic as well. I exercise regularly and have a reasonably healthy diet. I already take garlic and another supplement called astragalus.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

7 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoHow about this?
I think that everyone and everything is essentially made of the same thing. Possibly when we die some part of this thing lives on. I believe in time this thing will be described by science. No god, no Jesus, no judgement. This is something I've thought about for a long long time. Anyone care to enlighten me?
