Today is my mother's birthday who died and I have been trying to sleep through it. Not Healthy! Then with the holidays coming up and she died on 1-30-05, I'm just having a very hard time.

rid of it without hurting her feelings. She has it hanging in my car and I am disabled and can't get to it. I don't think she really knew that it would bother me. She doesn't preach and accepts that I'm a Pagan and I think she did it without realizing the impact it would have. Please get creative in coming up with a solution.

My deceased mother's best friend who is 87 and like a second mom to me, would like me to join. I would do probably anything in the world for her, but this is a bit conflicting. I have thought about it and either way I go seems wrong. I even thought about joining just for her & not participate after the initation just to make her happy before she dies. If not for God and Christianity and swearing an oath, I could maybe pull it off and still live with myself knowing I made her happy. Please give me some feed back on Easter Star beliefs. I won't even go into how I feel about secret societies. I have even tried justification that it is a 5 pointed star and so is a pentagram, could work?
