I'm a small business owner in Denver. I bust my ass to make a buck and although I joke around I take life very seriously. I've been around the block quite a bit and have lived several lives all before the age of 30.

  • What is this movie. I can't remember?

I think it was called meet the Robinsons. But since the new Robinsons came out I can't find anything on it.

It's about an alien Prang mantis family that moves to America as human being. At one point the kid is smoking weed in the basement and lets his antenna lose which freaked everyone out.

  • Does no health insurance influence a doctors decision?

I broke my left clavicle last week. It's in four or five pieces and one large piece is rotated 90 degrees. After doing some homework and talking with a few doctors; I've learned the 98 percent of clavicle fracture are left to fix themselves because of the risk of the surgery. (hard for me to type with one hand). Long story short: I don't qualify for health care because of some minor preexisting conditions. But I have the means to pay for the surgery ($25,000). I can't help but wonder if my doctor feels as if he might not get paid and this is why he advised against the procedure. Do doctors think this way?

  • What caused the current economic depression?

What do you think it was? And don't give me the it was "Bush" or the "liberals" or Obama crap either. Real answers please. Argue with me. I feel it was the following:

    1. The War. Regardless if it was right or wrong. It still cost us a pretty penny and war manufacturing this time around was nothing like WWII.

    2. Home Mortgages and half of america defaulting on loans causing banks to deal with it or lose out.

    3. Consumer education? Perhaps people are becoming more savvy on spending and taking better care of their stuff. They're not buying as much crap anymore.

  • Immigration in Denver?

Ok, so the government has been raiding local businesses here in Denver and essentially shaking out all the illegal immigrants. They have rounded up over 1,000 persons now here illegally. Now there has been protests in the streets in defense of these people. What do you think the justification of these protest are and why shouldn't we raid places employing illegals?

  • That movie filmed in denver?

I remeber when I was a kid seeing a movie filmed in Denver about a bunch of kids who go on a rampage against the PTA. I only remeber the ending when they had locked all the parents instide and burned cars and stuff outside. I also remember at the end of the movie the one kid taken away by a prison bus while the others waved goodbye on an overpass bridge. I can't remember the name of it and would like to rent it on Netflix. Maybe late 70s early 80s.
