Immigration in Denver?

Ok, so the government has been raiding local businesses here in Denver and essentially shaking out all the illegal immigrants. They have rounded up over 1,000 persons now here illegally. Now there has been protests in the streets in defense of these people. What do you think the justification of these protest are and why shouldn't we raid places employing illegals?

The march was already set in place before the raids took place. Yes I do believe the raids are the correct thing to do and if we had been doing them since 1986 we would not have the large numbers of illegals. Both for the illegals and the business that hire them. I also believe that the raids are being done, like most of bushes staged events, to give the American people the false impression that we are taking work force enforcement seriously, but I am sure when amnesty is pasted the raids will be stopped, not for the sake of the illegals but the business lobby.

there is no justification for protests. They are here illegally, they should return to a place where they are legal. It's simple.

apparently it's un-PC to enforce the law. the only justification i can come up with is they have broken the law unhampered and now when the gov't tries to come in and do the right thing(i.e. enforcement of existing laws) the loud mouths come out of the woodwork and cry foul b/c they need something to b**** about.
