I am a 32 yr old female and my doc prescribed it today for ADHD and depression....anyone have any first hand experience with this drug?

What do you think of this story? When I see things like this it makes me glad my husband has his concealed handgun license. Now I just have to get mine.

My husband and I want to take our four sons ages 6, 5, 2, and 8 mos. on a camping vacation and we figure the best way to do it would be to rent an RV. ANybody out there ever do this and can you relate your experience.? Thanks!

It is a common misconception that when Jesus overturned the table of the money changers in the temple He was angry that they were selling sacrifices for profit. In fact, this is not the reason He was angry. If people took the time to understand how things were done in those days they would know that it was common practice to sell animals for the sacrifices that were made in the temple. Jesus didn't have a problem with that. He was angry because the area that the moneychangers were occupying was the only area of the temple that Gentiles were allowed to worship....Jesus wanted everyone to be able to enter the temple...not just Jews. This is another example of how Jesus loved EVERYONE, not just the Jews.

I am currently taking Lexapro for my depression but lately I feel like I need a little more help. From wht I've read it sounds like I my also suffer from Adult ADD. as far as i can tell, praying to saints, purgatory, diefying the virgin mary, and seeking absolution from a priest, earning salvation are not mentioned anywhere in the Word of God. how do catholics account for the adding to and taking away from the Word of God? Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that the words of a mere man (the Pope) are considered gospel and as infallibale as the Bible. How is this biblical?

My understanding of the Word of God is that we are saved by grace, and once saved, we need no mediator between ourselves and God. I never thought I had to earn my way to heaven, i just simply need to believe and accept Christ as my Savior. It just seems to me that many Catholic practices are pagan in nature and are even explicitly forbidden in God's Word.

I am going to be a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding and I have a horse tattoo on my shoulder. While I LOVE my tattoo, I would really like to cover it so it won't show at all. the dress is halter style so half of my back will be showing. I'm not ever ashamed of my body art, but out of respect for my best friend, and the fact that her family has very conservative sensibilities, I'd just as soon not have it be an issue. If anyone out there has any ideas on the best product, I'd be greatly appreciative! Thanks! By the way, my tattoo is above my left shoulder blade and is about 6 inches in diameter.

i can't stand anything on prime time or any popular shows for that matter. My husband and I live for saturday and sunday night britcoms that come on pbs. we've even rented a couple of seasons of Father Ted from netflix. i dont care how often i've seen an episode of red dwarf, Python, fawlty towers, blackadder, the young ones, absolutely fabulous, open all hours, the list goes on.... they are still hilarious. Even when american telvision producers try to copy something the brits have come up with it fails miserably...remember "coupling"? I've tried watching popular programs and i lose interest. they are just bad. not even funny. Anyone out there who has good taste in comedy? the brits have got us americans beat by a mile in terms of good television. i'm a proud american but in terms of being funny and original, they got us beat. Am I alone here?

I understand that if you work out soon after eating and have too many carbs you won't burn fat...just sugar. Is this true? I'm a little confused about how this works and what is the best time to eat in relation to exercise.
