German cockroaches (the most common American roach) are said to have a 100-day life cycle. They lay about 35 eggs at a time, and carry them until they hatch.

Assuming the cockroaches have an ideal environment in my kitchen and are able to breed like crazy, and given that I kill an average of 12 cockroaches every night, how many cockroaches would there have to be to keep breeding ahead of me?

(I'm just trying to figure out if I'm even making any headway against them, numbers-wise. I'm not so mathematically inclined, but this seems like a good place for calculus.)

It's really easy. Because God has prophesied certain things, all you have to do is break any one of His prophecies. Here are just of few of the possibilities for you.

1. Live in ancient Babylon.

2. Live in ancient Tyre.

3. Live in ancient Nineveh.

God has said none of the above will be inhabited again. Live there, and you have disproved God. But alas, if you die trying, you have added evidence in His favor! Are you daring enough to try?!

Remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Which atheist is willing to put his life on the line to disprove God? It's an easy thing to try. Just take a tent over there and setup your residence for a night or two in one of those ruins. Call it a vacation.

Consider that many Christians DIE for their faith. What are you willing to risk for yours? And if you say you have no faith, think again. Learn about the terms: metaphysical beliefs, epistemology and axiology. Every person living has a belief system.

Note: I do not ask that the Bible actually say the age of the parent. It may be, as is the case with the sixteen-year-old parent, that the age must be deduced with a little math based on surrounding details. It just needs to be clear.

Example 2: The parable of the sower--birds ate the seed which fell upon the road. The seed did not represent literal seed, so please do not try to say the birds represent literal birds.

I've seen conflicting statements online regarding this. MySQL instructions seem to indicate that it is possible to do this, and yet it seems it is not done with the GRANT syntax. Here's an excerpt from http://www.wideman-one.com/gw/tech/mysql%E2%80%A6 which illustrates the conundrum.

3. No GRANT OPTION on columns:

columns_priv.Column_priv and tables_priv.Column_privs don't include "Grant" as a legit value, which agrees with the manual's description of syntax for priv_type for column level. Contrastingly, INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMN_PRIVILEGES does show an IS_GRANTABLE field. Presumably this is unused.

In Taiwan, they say keeping one or more geese will repel snakes. In fact, they say that the snakes do not like the smell of their droppings, and that if the snakes slither over a goose dropping, its skin may become injured by an infection received from the dropping.

However, I have searched online and have found nothing to support such folklore. Do you have any evidence for this, either pro or con?

I am having a difficult time understanding atheism. Most religions have sacred writings which they follow, but what do atheists have? Also, since science cannot prove the non-existence of something, upon what basis do you have faith in the absence of a deity? And how does your religion impact your lifestyle?

I want to know how to set up my webserver so that a second webserver, in a second location, will automatically receive the web traffic if my primary server goes down. Obviously, if the primary server is down, it cannot redirect the browser to the secondary server....so this needs to happen somehow in conjunction with the domain name itself, I think. Is it possible to have a backup site?

I have found many services advertised online offering the streaming servers, internet bandwidth, etc. but I want to know how to do the whole thing myself without going through a special service. I have access to very high speed broadband internet already, I have good professional video cameras, but need to make the conversion from the camera feed to the internet stream, LIVE (a few seconds delay for encoding is acceptable).

If you think a computer with the right software will do it, please give the specs, since my computer does not appear to have sufficient horsepower for a full 720 X 480 resolution stream at 30 fps (anything above 1400 kbps bitrate). I would prefer a stand-alone device (not using a PC).

Also, I would accept any format commonly used and which can be played on the average PC, such as WMV, MPEG2, MPEG4, Real, AVI, etc. To be able to multicast and to stream at multiple bitrates simultaneously is preferable.
