1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoIs Chrysler employee pricing really stopped?
I am looking at a Dodge car and the salesman says that as of Wednesday Chrysler is no longer offering the employee pricing, so the price is higher than if I had bought before that (by like $2k).
Does anyonw know if this is true or just a sales gimmick?
2 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoWould you rather live in a secular society or one based on your religion?
Those of us who practice a religion often lament if we live in a secular society. But in reality we are free to pursue our religion and live according to its teachings. But if we lived in a society that fully embraced our religion, we might be happier. But would we?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMy engine makes a tapping sound when hot...?
2000 Mazda Millenia, regular V6 engine, 170 k miles, regular maintenance, no problems to date.
After coming off the freeway and driving around, when at idle, I here a sharp tapping sound from the engine, and speeds up when I goose the engine at idle. Sounds like what I would call valve tapping, but that was from my experience with working on cars in the 1980's. Is never present when engine is cold.
Just wondering what it is? Any help?
BTW: I only starting hearing this sound recently after I started using premium gas again for my last three fill-ups. This car really responds to good gas, so I was having fun.

7 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat next for Blagojevich? Does he have to serve time?
OK, so if he is guilty of trying to sell the senate seat for money, as is pretty clear, and if he has been impeached, then, I mean, he has commited a crime. Does he now have to serve a sentence, or what?
8 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoHow do McDonalds fries get hollow in the middle and crunchy on the outside?
When you make fries at home, they never get that hollowed out middle and golden crunchy outside thing going. There is always dense potato squish in the middle.
I have seen many posting on Yahoo Answers for making Micky D's fries at home, but using regular potatoes doesn't come out the same way. Is it true they use potato powder formed into fry shape? Is that the trick to the hollow center/crunchy exterior? Or What?
Anybody out there been to McDonalds University?
8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhy do the maps show us that people who live near cities vote blue, and pretty much everyone else votes red?
I am interested in legit answers, not rants. I really do want to know if someone has a real answer. There must be something we can say here, based on reality, not opinion.
I have lived in cities, small towns, suburbs and in farm country. The division is real in my experience. I do have my own theory but I am really interested in legitimate ones.
Thanks in advance to all who answer. I always close my questions.
20 AnswersElections1 decade agoAnyone know a good place online to but small replacement electric motors for toys?
I need a 3V little DC motor to replace the one in a broken mobile.
The motor is about 1.5" in diameter and 3/4" deep and runs on 3 AA batteries and turns about 5 revs/second. Just a little toy motor. Looks generic.
Anyone know good website? It seems like google searches just generate spam anymore.
2 AnswersToys1 decade agoWhy did my Dodge Caliber make so much road noise? ?
OK, I thought I wanted to but a Dodge caliber, and then I had a chance to rent one in Boston/ I drove it out on the Mass Pike and into the Boston suburbs.
I like the car, but I decided that I could not live with the road noise. This car had about 26k on the odometer and was in decent shape for a rental.
I was wondering if anyone who knows about cars can tell me why this car has so much road noise? Did I just have one with bad tires?
I like to listen to music and I decided that the road noise was just too high to listen to music and would frustrate me, I mean as a commuter car. I guess I don't want this car. Or did I get a bad one?
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoCan all season tires be used on a car with a helical limited slip differential?
The Nissan Sentra SE-R offers a helical limited slip differential, but when you get that option, it excludess all-season radials and you have to get hi-performance tires. If I want to also run all-season tires sometime, or even winter tires on this car, is there any reason why the helical limited slip differential would be incompatible?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWill Windows Xp Pro license codes work for Windows XP Home?
I have two computers. A laptop and a desktop. I have legit, activated versions of windows XP on each. XP home on the desktop and Pro on the laptop. I have the Windows XP home CD for the desktop that I bought, but the laptop came pre-installed with no CD, just license code sticker. The laptop hard disk crashed and I want top reinstall Windows home on the laptop with a new drive. Will the license codes that it came with work if I use my Windows XP home CD to reinstall the OS? I don't need the 'pro' features anyway.

I have found other cars that are yellow beyond those in the previous question, like
Chevy Cobalt Coupe 2008

4 AnswersInvesting1 decade agoNeed a recipe to make this salmon and gnochi dish.?
OK all you chefs out there, I want to make this dish that is famous at Gratzi's in Ann Arbor MI.
Here is the description on the menu:
*Salmone al Ferro con Gnocchi - grilled North Atlantic salmon
served over gnocchi sauteed with spinach and tomatoes, in
garlic cream sauce.
This dish is like very soft and melt in your moth gnochi tossed in a bit of this pinkish sauce. the salmon is on top but flakes so that it blends in with the sauce as you eat it. There are some spinach leaves tossed into the gnochi too.

5 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoShouldn't thumbs up count as voting for questions that go unresolved?
I see that some questions get weighed in on by thumbs up and thumbs down. But, then they go to voting. But then nobody votes. So you can go in and pick an answer and then, boom that one wins.
If a question sits for a certain time (3 days?) without any votes cast, but there are lots of thumbs, then shouldn't the thumbs cast the vote. Total number of thumbs up wins. Each thumbs down is -1 thumbs up.
