  • I took 4000mg of acetaminophen at one time, will I be okay?

Yesterday I was feeling very sick, I had back pain and I had a cold. So I thought I would just take a bunch of meds for my back and my cold, and go to sleep. I didn t really read the labels as I was exhausted and quite frankly, being irresponsible. After reading about it, I realized that was a huge mistake! I know for a fact I took about exactly 4000mg of acetaminophen and no more/maybe a tad less. I didn t take any other meds that day, nor have I today.

I am feeling very nauseous though, which I presume could be from the meds or even the liver problems that can with an overdose.

I just want to know if i ll be okay or not. I am 240 pounds (so I am a big girl) and otherwise a pretty healthy 20 year old. I know the reccomended dosage in 24 hours is 4000mg, but I wanted to know if i m at risk because of the fact I took it all at once.

    Should I be okay????

  • Should I put my TV in my home office or my bedroom?

I am a 19 year old college student and my parents are kindly turning our spare room into my office/study room. We are also currently re painting my bedroom. I have a super cute TV that looks like this...

    http://www.highfidelityreview.com/wp-content/uploa...

I am kind of old school when it comes to the belief that TV's can be distracting around work or sleep. But I can't decide which room it makes more sense to have it in. Should a TV go in your bedroom where you're supposed to sleep? Or should I put it in the office area and turn the office into half office/half hangout room. Please keep in mind that I am a college student, who of course may have friends at her house sometime or boyfriend. I am just trying to decide what room it makes more sense in.

I am also not opposed to any feng shui theories on which room the TV would work best in. Thanks!

  • What to do about junkfood addiction?

I have been eating junkfood for many years now. My addiction is starting to get out of control. For example, today I went to a local restaurant and shared an order of quesadillas with a friend, then for my meal I had a chicken finger wrap (it had lettuce, chicken fingers, bbq sauce and blue cheese), I also had sweet potato fries with it w/ honey. To drink I hat two diet cokes. Then later on I got a small ice cream. Then later in the evening I had a burrito from a local fast food place and an order of nachos. And as a snack later on I had a bowl of cut up fruit. This is all obviously super unhealthy, except for the fruit, and I do things like this often. I am very addicted to doritos and carb dense meals. Sometimes mcdonalds, panera, etc.

Now here's the thing, I'm a great cook. I am capable of cooking nutritious healthy delicious meals yet I prefer the fast food or junk food. I have been recovering from bulimia for years and am seeing a nutritionist but she is more concerned about staying in recovery than I am about the junkfood I'm eating.

I just want any advice I can get on how to quit this junkfood addiction.

  • Stomach fat went from soft to hard in a few weeks, what could cause this?

I am overweight, and have been working on it for a few weeks now. I've been eating very healthy and exercising. But right before I made this healthy change my stomach fat went from very soft to hard. It's like I'm constantly bloated. It's an all day thing and never lets up. My stomach has always been soft and jiggly, and I noticed over a few weeks it seemed to just stay bloated. No matter what I do or how much water I drink I can't make it go away. I know what visceral fat is, but isn't it impossible for soft fat to turn into visceral fat especially over a few weeks?

I had maintained my weight for about 4 months before I started on a weightloss journey and have been seeing a nutritionist about my eating habits. So I am definitely doing it the healthy way and I don't think it has anything to do with my diet.

I have had some kind of chest infection for the past few months that I'm seeing a specialist about. I keep hocking up mucus all day long. Could that have something to do with it? Or is it really a weight issue?

    I am 5'9, and about 235-240 pounds.

  • Should I hide my self harm scars at work?

I just got a job as a cashier at a local supermarket and the uniform consists of a short sleeved shirt and pants. I use to self harm, and am fully recovered. I have many scars up and down my arms. I read the employee handbook and didn't see anything about such a thing. You are asked to cover tattoos, but obviously this isn't a tattoo...

You are allowed to wear long sleeve shirts under your work shirt. What I am really asking is, do you think I should wear long sleeves or not? I would rather not considering my work shirt is snug as is. But I don't want to cause any issues with customers. The managers are not aware of my scars because I wore a long sleeve shirt to the interview. (I wasn't trying to hide them, it was just cold)

  • How does someone get formally diagnosed with an eating disorder?

I am 18 years old, obese and undoubtedly have bulimia. I binge/purge many many times a month. In the month of September I had 9 episodes where I binged and then purged. This has been going on for over 3 years. I have never spoken to a doctor or a mental health professional about my ED. I have went to counseling for other reasons, but never for this. I was wondering where does someone go to get formally diagnosed? I have been yo-yoing for so long and just want to recover from my ED and lose weight HEALTHILY. But it would help to start with the FORMAL diagnosis to begin treatment, ya know? Do I speak to my family doctor? A therapist? Or a psychiatrist/psychologist?

  • Best fitness plan for me?

I am currently about to start a fitness/weightloss plan! I have a gym membership and use to go there previously. I am about 235 pounds and 5'9 female. My most important goal is to lose weight healthily, and as fast as you can HEALTHILY. I know a lot about healthy eating. I plan on eating about 1,400 calories a day. Lots of water, all of that type of stuff. But my most important question is what days should I do cardio/strength? How much is too much?

If it was up to me I would do cardio and strength on the same day considering they're both at my gym and it's easy to do... But I want to do this the best way for my body!

I have a very free schedule so I can basically go to the gym 7 days a week if it is the best way to lose weight. I don't want to over do it and I am just beginning this journey. (But I am not completely out of shape. I can jog/walk a mile in about 13-14 minutes. I can handle burning about 300-400 calories in an hour or so)

  • When to expect my period on first pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen?

This is my first time taking this birth control. I haven't taken any form of birth control pills in about a year. I started this pack on the last day of my period which was on July 23rd. (My gyno gave it to me that day and told me I could begin it that day anyways and it would eventually sort itself out) I am currently on the final pill of week 3. So the last active pill? The first day of my last period was on July 19th. Today would be the 25th day of my cycle. But it's basically the 21st day on the pill. What I want to know is how soon should I expect my period? I am very new to this, so any advice will help!

  • Is it wrong of me to be uncomfortable seeing a woman breast feed in public?

Today I was at the grocery store picking up my father's birthday cake. There was a line at the bakery and the woman directly beside me was breast feeding her baby. Her breast was fully out and the only thing covered was her nipple by the baby. The line was not very long, only her, another family and I. The store was not too busy, and she could have easily walked to an empty spot of the store or even the restroom. She didn't have a cart, so it's not like it would be a huge inconvenience to feed her child elsewhere. I just thought it was kind of inappropriate to breast feed her child so publicly, when it wasn't exactly a MUST. I don't understand why she couldn't have covered her breast more, went somewhere more private or used a bottle of her own breast milk. Is it wrong that I felt this way, or do you think I'm justified? There were a few children and men in the area as well, not that it makes a huge difference.

  • How does the 2gb verizon data plan work?

I am very confused about the data plans for verizon. I have had my iphone 4s for over a year. The phone I had prior to that was a droid, with an unlimited data plan. I understand that they switched the unlimited plan to either a 2gb, or you could purchase more. My family also owns iphones and we are all on the same bill. They have the iphone 5, and purchased them recently. The main questions I am asking are, how easy is it to go over the limit? Does the 2gb apply to everyone, or do we each have our own? Also, would I still have the unlimited plan, or has it changed over?

My dad does not pay much attention to his bill, he just pays it off. He has a lot of people on our bill and he just tries to deal with it like that. I am basically your average teenage girl and send plenty of picture messages, I sometimes use netflix on my phone, I have facebook open, and tumblr, and sometimes watch youtube videos. I do have some apps I use frequently, such as twitter and my facebook app. I don't play many games though.

Are we most likely paying extra for over usage? Or does it sound like we fit into the normal category of people?

  • Questions about marriage visas in the UK?

I am very confused about how it works. It says on the visa website that if you are already in the UK you can get married. Then later on you apply for the partner visa. If you are studying in the UK does that count as already being in the UK? It mentions that if you're 21 or older you can get permission to go to the UK to marry your partner, and then get the visa. Basically, what I am asking is if you're 18, how can you marry your partner and get a partner visa?

I have been in a long distance relationship with a guy for 3 years. Yes, I am young. He is 20 though. I am 18. We have met in person several times and have spent various weeks together throughout our three years of being together. We love each other with all of our hearts, and just want to be together permanently soon. Getting a partner/marriage visa seems to be our best bet. Any information is helpful.

  • My period is really late, and am not sure why?

I am 16 years old, I have had my period for three years. It is mostly super regular. The latest it has ever been was maybe 3 days. The last three months or so it was acting goofy, but for the most part was regular. This month it is ten days late. I thought I had symptoms, like mild cramping but nothing ever happened. I can think of many reasons why, but I really am not sure. I was on two different medicines that I no longer take. I use to take a medication for acne that I stopped taking for about two months now. I also was on cymbalta, but only for about a week. I stopped taking that about a month and a half ago. I was mildly stressed with exams a month ago. I hang out with a friend of mine whose period is severely irregular. I have gained a bit of weight, but I have been this weight before and still had my period. I just don't know if I should be concerned or not. Or what exactly might be causing it?

  • What is this movie? The back door of a semi pops up, and there is a girl in the back?

It's killing me, I can't remember the name of this movie I watched years ago. I believe they had european or british accents. I am pretty sure it was an IFC film. All I remember is this guy is driving behind this truck and the door pops open, and there is a girl in the back of it. I think it ends up being his girlfriend. And he chases the truck, and they try to catch him. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

  • Was this squirting or peeing?

I'm like 99% sure it was squirting. I'm just really paranoid. I've read that when you squirt it shouldn't smell at all. But, when I did, it did have a slight smell. It wasn't necessarily gross. It was almost mildly sweet, with a strange sent to it. I don't smell my pee, so how am I supposed to know the difference? I did go to the bathroom before I did this, so it seems unlikely that I would pee again, especially that much. It was enough to leave a decent sized wet spot on my sheets. It seemed clear to me, and a little cloudy. Pee isn't usually clear, but it can be!

I'm completely confused. I've done this once before (squirt), and this was my second time... so I'm really confused. Help! Sorry for the tmi.

  • How are the clip in hair extensions?

You know the ones with like the tracks that you clip in your hair? Well, I'm thinking of getting some. Real human hair ones though. How do they look? Do they generally blend in well, and work well? About how much do decent ones cost? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I don't want shitty looking ones either... Some info would be greatly appreciated.

  • Strange things to do in NYC?

I'm into alternative things. I'm going to NYC Thursday. I like goth/punk/alternative things. I love creepy things/haunted houses. I'm only fifteen though, and will be with a group of friends. I'm also bisexual. If there are any gay coffee houses or anything that I'd be able to go to, i'm totally interested. I love bookstores, coffee shops, cafe's, etc. I love small strange restaurants, cute bakeries, etc. Does ANYTHING come to mind for you, that I should look into doing/going/seeing?

  • I have seaweed in a cut on my foot, what do I do?

I tripped by a lake, and cut my foot on the pier. It's a really small cut. About a centimeter long. It's not too deep either. The thing is, I got seaweed in it. There was kind of a lot. I tried to get as much out as I could with like a toothpick and water... But there is a small chunk a little bigger than a splinter. I can't get it out. I put rubbing alcohol and neosporin on it. Will I be fine? Or is there more I should do?

  • Would showing my bra strap be acceptable?

I am going to wear one of those shirts that has like no shoulders.

The kind where you cut the neckline, ya know?

Like this but both shoulders: http://img.coplusk.net/originals/0010/6960/hurleys...

    Kinda like this but a t-shirt: http://www.vencouture.com/wp-content/uploads/25614...

I made the shirt like that myself, it looks really cute. But here's the thing... I know most people would wear a tank top under it but I really don't own one. Would it look trashy/slutty to just leave my bra straps? I have a strapless bra... but it really doesn't give much support at all. I mean, I could wear like a cami under it so you'd see both straps... but that would just look worse wouldn't it?

If it matters, the shirt is a black band tee that I cut like that, to be shoulderless. And my bra's are either gray, blue or white... If any would look best, please tell me!
