  • 2000 Mustang Gt gearing. 2100 RPM @ 70 Mph?

Purchased a '00 Mustang GT automatic a couple of months ago. (I know what some would say, but I'm getting older and have to deal with heavy traffic occasionaly.) With my previous GT's (5 speed) the tach would read around 1800 rpm at 70 mph vs 2100 rpm with this one. Is the difference based on optional gear ratios or is what I have now a standard ratio with the automatic transmission?

  • The Enumerated Powers Act and Respecting the Constitution. Can Anyone Support This?

H.R. 1359 Would be a good start to get this nation back on track."Enumerated Powers Act - Requires each Act of Congress to contain a concise and definite statement of the constitutional authority relied upon for the enactment of each portion of that Act. Declares that failure to comply with this requirement shall give rise to a point of order in either chamber of Congress. "

3/6/2007 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.

I wonder how long they will keep this one buried?

We all need to get on the phone and send e-mails to everyone about this one.

  • '73 Merc Cougar how to tell 351C or W engine?

I am buying a '73 Mercury Cougar. The car runs and is all there, although it needs a lot of TLC. There is a huge looking engine, 351 c.i.d. stuffed under the hood, with a skinny little two barrel carb sitting on top. I was wondering if there was an easy way to identify the Cleveland vs Windsor engines.

I'll do the google bit too, but I was wondering if you folks had any tips or tricks. Thanx.

  • Democrat Control = 8 years of peace. Read Carefully before tossing out a nonsense reply.?

I think that with a Dem in the White House and Democrat control of both houses of Congress, that the terrorists do not dare launch a massive attack such as 9/11. Should they do so then BOTH parties will agree that action must be taken.

The terrorist tactic of divide and conquor will have failed then. They will have to wait until the Republicans hold all the cards once more before they dare attack again.

This is just a thought that occurred to me, not necessarily a statement of fact. But it is something worth pondering. What do you think. I welcome answers here or in my e-mail.

  • NASCAR Photograph. Who is the driver.?

I took this photo at Atlanta International Raceway during the practice for the spring race in 1987. I thought it was Benny Parsons driving the #55 Crown Oldsmobile, but now I'm not sure.
