I graduated from college in May with a BSBA, and am thinking about going back (to a different school)...?
to work towards a more specialized (undergraduate) degree-basically adding to the one I already have. My question is this: I have 45 grand in student loans now, including maxing out on subsidized ones. What is the limit on borrowing? Am I eligible for more since I already graduated? and where can I get the applications for these if there are extra loans I can apply for?
thanks for your help!!
1 AnswerFinancial Aid1 decade agoan hourly employee gets a call from work...then gets fired?
(which may happen sometimes) asking them to come in early. The employee is annoyed with the tone of voice being used by the manager, and combined with the early hour, gets *irate* on the phone with said manager. When the employee gets to work they are fired for having an attitude with the manager who specifically mentions the phone call.
1) is this within the scope of employment, for the employee to be held responsable outside of work?
2) is this an ethical dilemma? what if the manager did not mention the phone call when firing the employee, but the phone call still occured. could the firing be considered retaliatory action against the employee and risks getting sued?
I was discusing this with one of my bosses the other day, who had a similar situation. He said that if the employee had been having a "bad day" he would understand that and the firing would not occur, but withou that, employee gone. he also said he could "tell" wether a employee was having a bad day. i say B-S!!!!
12 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoWas this a bad experiance or a good example?
I recently went to my first Baptist mass/church with a friend because of no good Catholic churches where I live. They had a visiting pastor doing the service, and who said some things about other religions that I would view as disrespectful. Please tell me if this was just a bad experiance of Baptists or a good example of them: (he really said these things):
(referring to catholics)-"they pray to get to heaven, we pray because we are thankful we have heaven"--this was said in a derogatory manner
(referring to buddhists)-"they are worshiping an old fat dead guy!!"
As a Catholic, this is quite radical...I mean the preacher does not do this during his eulogy, at least not in my experiance. Tell me your thoughts.
