How can i get into a christian leadership role really fast?
im in a new city that has a multidenominational congregation. im not real keen on my faith but i want to be perceived as very pious, knowledgable about the christian faith, and achieve a role wherein others come to me seeking answers, and ill be able to help and counsel as though from above through the power of christ which they somehow believe to be more accessible through me than themselves. i want to achieve a high position in the eyes of the christians very fast while not advancing beyond atheism. in other words, im a pretender with a need for ego gratification that can only be achieved through spiritual admiration. any tips or pointers? ive begun memorizing the bible because im good at memorizing stuff, but as i understand it the christians are very much an in-group and the memorizing the bible word by word and having it indexed in memory by book chapter and verse is not enough; you need to know the right buzzwords and lingo and use them at just the right times - and be able yourself to spot the insiders and wannabes and pretenders. i cant wait to be a great spiritual leader helping christians through what they believe to be christ whom they worship working through me as a specially chosen intermediary of gods will. thanks for the help!

14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhat makes everything go forward in time as opposed to some things going backward as others forward?
Does the second law of thermodynamics really deny this? I don't see why. I understand that entropy makes time go forward. But when things move in space, you would have to imply they move in time as well. It should seem valid then, that half of the mass in the universe would be moving backwards in time.
i.e. one whole planet going entirely backwards in time from our point of view?
as in eggs being unfried, babies going back into moms, dead bodies rising from the dead, words coming out of erasers, light bulbs sucking light out of eyes, broken glass assembling itself up off the floor, soap making things dirty again, children going to school to unlearn, etc.

2 AnswersPhysics9 years agoWhy save if the next generation is going to be producing what you'll need in retirement anyway?
When you retire, why not simply ask them to provide you with what you need? After all, your saved money doesn't really produce the things you'll buy. The next generation will have to produce it in any case. Why involve money?

likewise sad when hired because you now have to do so much work,

1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture9 years agoHow do you convince your job interviewer you're an extrovert even though you're an introvert in real life?
because you know it's not really important for the job but you know every interviewer is looking for extroversion before making a hire
should you flat out say "I'm an extrovert!" or should you drop more subtle clues such as "I'm a people person," or, "I like being in large crowds?"
