  • Is the BNP really the ENP?

I've not really looked at anything the BNP has to offer, but I was wondering, what are their thoughts on devolution?

I noticed that most BNP supporters on here, really only rant about problems in England, and fail to mention Wales, Scotland and N.Ire.

I was wondering, hypothetically, if they ever won the elections (I'm not delusional, I don't think it will happen) what are their proposals for devolution. Do they support this? or do they have a conservative view on the matter?

  • What do the BNP think of the devolution of powers?

So from a supporter of the BNPS point of view, what do you think of the devolution of powers? As in more powers given to the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly and the Northern Ireland Assembly?

Just wondering, because I know the conservatives strongly opposed this back in 97, so I was wondering if BNP agreed with the oppostion.

  • Statiscal differences with a result of an experiment.?

Ok, I am sorry again for plaguing answers with these questions but I'm just not coping at all. (never did I expect, when I chose my degree, id be dealing with this)

A tried and tested exam has a population mean of 126 and a population standard deviation of 16. A sample of 25 students are given special training on the exam topic. When they sit the eam, the mean score for the sample group is 136. Is the difference between the sample mean and population mean statistically, significantly different?

Apologies for all my questions, but here goes...

    what is an independent variable?

    What is the dependent variable?

for the study of an IQ test with a mean of 100 and standard deviation of 15. a researcher believes that people will preform better on an IQ test after a period of taking a particular food supplement. 25 participants are given this supplement, and their supsequent mean score is 95.

  • Question regarding one-tailed t-test?

Okay, so I preformed a one-tailed t-test, with 10 degrees of freedom, using an alpha level of .01, and have not rejected the null hypothesis.

Another experiment was done using a two-tailed t-test, with again, 10 degrees of freedom, using an alpha level of .05. this study rejected the null hypothesis.

Is this logical?? what are the relevant critical levels for t? I have no idea, as this is not usually my area of research at all!!

thanks for any reasonable answers :)
