My sister wants to hang out with friends and family, however i have no clue what to do for her. It is going to be in the evening and inside. I want it to be fun, but she doesn't want a traditional bridal shower:(. I was thinking of trying to get a local chef to come in and show us how to cook a romantic meal. I also thought of the theme of the party could be a luau. I don't know what to do but I want it to be fun and not boring for the bride or the women who are coming. I need help trying tot figure out what I want to explore for a fellowship. I am a painter who has a chronic illness. I can paint anything I want, but I have to be able to tell the board what direction i want to go in. My work envolves bright colors , telling stories to the viewer, portriats, emotional, and complicated compositions. I was thinking about creating a body of work that involves exploring the emotional physical,and mental health of women with chronic illness. For my end of the year fellowship project I want to have a large art opening slash gala for lupus?? What do you think?. Open to other ideas also, not stuck with this one.

I have Lupus SLE, and have had it since 2004. Recently I have been have severe stomach pain in the middle of my stomach. I also have 24 hour nausea, and have not eaten really anything in three weeks(but I force myself nibble at least once a day). I also have vomiting and bowel issues constantly. Does anyone no the official diagnose they give lupus patients who have these horrible stomach issues. I am really worried because this pain is intense and also I have no desire to eat or drink anything. I also it pretty much veggies and fruit all the time, with meat every other week. Please serious responses only

I was a teacher for eight years until I got sick with stage 2 of 4 kidney disease from my Lupus SLE. I had to leave that job that I loved because of so many reasons. Well I decided after my symptoms got under control some that I would find another profession that would allow me to help children. So for two years I have been earning a Masters in professional counseling, God willing I will graduate this fall. However I have debt still from my fist degree and now the masters. All I want to do is help children but with the degree I will have I will not be making much. Most of my money will go to health up keep. I don' even have a car or house anymore. I gave up my care and now share an apt with a roommate. My symptoms are worse at times and better others. However I am in so much debt with student loans I don't know what to do. If anyone has any ideas, or experience with this please let me know. It is hard I was a good student both times and will graduate in the fall with honors and a bill that I can not pay.

I have been have severe discoid lupus rashes. They are now leaving scars all over my body that are not fading anymore. i don't know what to do, I am ashamed to look in the mirror now. Is there anyway to heal the scars or another treament that I can do . I am already on steriods and antinflamators.

My family has been through a lot this year, we have had a lot of sickness, and struggling this year. Most of my family have a hard time getting around. So I decided to create a christmas store in my house. My family is pretty large. I am looking for ideas for things to put in my store. I am also looking for websites that could possible give me nice things to buy to put in my store but that are not expensive(I actually need them to be low priced). Also I am looking for ideas on how to advertise the store to my family, cute ways to help them shop. Also snack ideas they can have while they shop, decoration and a cute way for they to pay(they are broke so I need a fun way for them to pay for their items). Is there any programs that will either help you buy a washing machine or give you one for free. I live in Pa. I don't own a used washing machine either. I am in desperate need, because I have chronic illness that limits my mobility and trying to lug clothes to the laundry during the winter is horrible

I have a counseling presentations to do. The class is counseling ethics. We have to pic a topic in ethics and talk about it for 30 mins. My professor is looking for original topics or topics that are not boring.

I am a team captain of a walk for lupus team. I am also the only person on my team with lupus. Anyway I was unable to have professional t shirts made for my team members because I was sick. The walk is next weekend, and I don't think I can come up with a t shirt design and get it printed by next week. What can I do? I would like something that unifies us, what can I use. The only thing I could think of is getting t shirts and making home shirts. But other ideas are really welcomed:)

I am a great cook and baker who needs to make some extra money in a major way. I was wondering if I could throw a gourmet dessert tasting party/appetizer party. I would charge five dollars per person (or less) or more. I would serve the various desserts in shot glasses. Does this sound like it might work. I was thinking about doing this in four weeks. I have lupus SLE and kidney disease, and since I am very very sensitive to the light the summer is sad and depressing for me. I am getting tired of staying in the house, I also want to do things that can be done alone to since all of my friends work and I don't. I also am looking for some ideas about some activities I can do at night to which would be great. I also need activities that I can do with my friends when they are available that will be fun but do not require me to be out side or over do it physically.
