  • Can anyone give me any articles, research, pdf files etc about having the vertebrae in your back move as a whole and not individually?

I saw a doctor on Thursday for a disability exam(trying to get on disability). I have cerebral palsy, with my left side affected(right side is normal). The doctor said that what I described above is happening with my back causing bad pain. I'd like to know what I can do on my own to remedy the pain and how to go about talking to my regular doctors about this. I had x-rays done of my neck and back and had them sent to him, but idk if he'll contact me when he receives the results.

  • How to go about getting help for being transsexual/transgendered?

I am an 18 biological female. However, my brain is male. I have done an extensive amount of research about this and have to the conclusion that I have should have male parts. This feelings have become so strong and overwhelming that it's starting to affect my day to day life. I have depression, self hatred, guilt etc. I told my mother about this feelings and she just shrugged it off. My other family members would freak and probably disown me if I told them. I come from a very religious southern Christian family in southwest Georgia. Most people would treat me like I'm satan's minion or something. I don't know what to do. I've lost weight, sleep, and my appetite because of this. I'm to the point where I don't want to leave the house. I freaking hate it! I want some help for this, but I don't know how to go about it. Do I just go to the family doctor and say "I'm transsexual"? or what? Are there any support groups online? I doubt that there are any that are local. Thanks for any help!

  • Tips/ help on how to explain to my mother and other family members that I'm transgendered?

I'm biologically a female, but since I was a little kid, toddler age, I've always felt like was a male. I never did anything that's considered remotely feminine. All the clothes that I own are menswear.except underwear, for obvious reasons. I always felt that there was something wrong or not right about me.

My mother and most of my family just thought that this was a phase and that I would grow out of it my the time I hit puberty. That didn't happen. When I reached puberty, I began to have these "dreams"( that's the best way to put it) that I had male parts, and, to be honest, that felt right to me.

I recently became of legal age(18), and these feelings are getting stronger. I want to be honest with my family, but I come from a semi-religious Christian family( some members are more religious than others). I'm from the rural southern states in the U.S, so I'm not really accepted here. My mother is a bit disdain when it comes to these kinds of matters. I have a feeling that she already knows that I'm like this, but I want to come clean. I have no idea what her reaction will be like as she is very unpredictable. I'm tired of hiding these feelings. It's making me depressed, feel bad, and sick. I have no energy or appetite. Help?

I do like myself as I am. I did and still do get ridiculed for the way I am. I can't help that I am the way I am. Is there any help for me?

  • Parents, do you think that kids should learn how to write in cursive?

    Why or why not?

I'm curious because I live in one of the few US states( Georgia) that still require students to learn cursive.

  • Are the Bad Company albums without Paul Rodgers worth listening to?

I am a huge Bad Company fan, but I've never listened to any albums without Paul singing. I wonder if I'm missing out by not listening to them.

  • What is your opinion on calling kids...?

pet names like honey sugar sweetie etc

I'm 17 and as a younger kid my parents never called me anything of the sort. I actually dislike showing your love for somebody like that, but some people think that my mo should've called me those kinds of names.

  • What do you think of parents who..?

complain about how they feel like crap, but if their kids feel the same way, they tell them to suck it up and deal with it? For example, say neither the parent nor the child had a good night's sleep . The parent spends the day lying around, complains, and the child better not do the slightest thing wrong or else he/she will get it.( meaning shouted at, cussed out, or hit really hard). However, the kid can not lie around at all, and if the kid complains, the parent will say "Oh shut up, you're young, you can deal with it,but I can't". The kid can lie around because they do their school work online.
