Oh man, I was never any good at filling these things out...I guess the best way to see who I am is to see what questions i answered, and what my answer was...

  • Why the attacks on religion?

Ok, so i'm not a deeply religious person. I pray, go to church every once in awhile. But why do people feel the need to bash religion, or those who practice it? I mean just because you don't like or agree with something/someone doesn't mean you can't show respect...

...all religions that i've studied are beautiful, and peaceful. The teach tolerance, peace, and understanding. They appeal to the better parts of human nature (from what I've gathered). So I ask again, why the need to attack and/or belittle any established religion?

  • Is there an American Dream left to dream of?

I have a legitimate question to ask. I ask that you read all of it before posting, and seriously consider what you write down. Please refrain form silly, and ignorant name calling, and racist comments. I'm trying to see intelligent, thoughtful, sincere answers.

A country founded on the belief that any man or woman can make it with hard work and an honest job. They say that all people who walk on it's shores are free. They welcome diversity with words, but their actions slam the door on anyone who truly tries to keep that part of them that makes them unique.

My question is...why? Why shut out anyone who comes into this country (by any means) searching for that american dream that all people yearn for when they arrive? Can we not say "yes, you may work, and live free. See what we guard so harshly, and defend so ferverently."

I ask with all sincerity, why shun those who are the new dreamers of the american dream?

  • You have a family in a 3rd world country, and the greatest nation in the world is next door, what do you do?

you have been working in a facotry for much much less than minimum wage and have a family. Soon your wage become far too little to live off of, even at the most basic levels.

You need to support a family, but clearly they can't go anywhere with you. Do you take the chance at having your family starve on 5 dollars a day while you wait years, sometimes decades for citizenship? Do you decide to enter "ilegally" and help your family now? Do you stay in your country?

    What do you do?
