His birthday is next week and we will be together for less than 3 weeks at that time (which is why I don't have awesome ideas for him, since I met him not too long ago).

He's been remodeling his house, which has been taking a long time, so I wanted to get him a cook book.

Reasons: He said he wants to start cooking a lot since his kitchen has taken a lot of effort. He has mentioned how he should have a shelf for just cookbooks in his kitchen. I thought this would start his "collection."

Is this dumb since it's for a GUY? Do you have other ideas?

I updated iTunes and it made my sound go away completely. It's not just on YouTube or anything, nothing works. When I turn up my sound, it usually makes a clicking noise, but it's not doing that, so I know the sound is completely disabled.

I've fixed it before, but every time I turn on my computer, the sound is off again. The drivers are all updated, I've already checked that, and it is definitely not muted.

I assume when updating iTunes, it changed some settings, but I don't know how to change them back. I uninstalled iTunes and QuickTime and all Apple things and it didn't change anything.

My Palm Pre got a crack in the screen and that side of the touch screen doesn't work any more. I was doing research and on the sprint website it says that without insurance, it will cost $35 for a repair, but online forums say it will cost maybe $200?

Has anyone else had this issue and knows how much it would cost? My warranty is expired because it's after 1 year and I don't have insurance, because it's too late to get it.

My bf and I have been going out for 3 years and there's this other couple we we're friends with. There was also another girl Monica* that was with them who my bf and I both know and so it seemed like she replaced me because it was the 4 of them (bf, Monica*, couple) and it made me mad obviously, but my bf thought it was no big deal.

Now Monica randomly texts him (she got out of a 3 year relationship a month ago) and asks what he's doing and asks to hang out and last night, he went to her house and they talked for 2 freaking hours. It's making me really mad but he says it's nothing.

I know guys can have girls as friends and vise versa, but I'm not used to this because usually we all hang out together and now I'm so excluded and I don't know what to do.

Btw, my ex and me are planning on getting back together as soon as we work this out because we love each other and fighting a bunch just wasn't working out.

Okay this couple, I'm really good friends with both of them, but the bf keeps talking to this girl (she has a diff bf too) and his gf doesn't know. I know and lots of people know, but no one is telling the gf because it's not really our business. He has done this before and has gotten caught (twice) but she has forgiven him and forgiven him.

He keeps texting this girl and she would visit him at work and it's all a secret.

I don't know if I should talk to the guy or the girl because if I don't tell the girl then it's not fair to her bcause she should know and I feel like I'd be taking sides against the guy even though i'm good friends with him. If I tell her then I'm scared of losing friendship with the guy and if I don't tell her then I'd be taking the guy's side even though I'm against it.

Is there a way not to take sides?

if i use a hair straightener like ogilvie. (cream that makes your hair straight). can i not have curly/ wavy hair at all? can i curl my hair or would that mess up the straightener and will stop it from working?

i got this new dior mascara and it has a really big brush and i love the mascara but when i put it on, it gets on my eyelid, so i have to wipe that off and i end up wiping off my eye shadow and my eye liner..

i was wondering how i could put eye shadow and eye liner on before my mascara and how to not get mascara on my eyelid..

we need a video camera and want a nice one, but one that is reasonably priced and we don't even know where to begin looking.. any ideas? or do you have a video camera that you LOVE?
