  • Verizon a now show... Can I/should I get a discount

So, I ordered FIOS TV as an add on to my preexisting FIOS internet line. First of all, the tech was scheduled to be there between 2-4. He did not show. So, I called and they told me that he was running late. They told me to call back in an hour and a half if he still wasn't there. 1 hour and 45 minutes later I call again because the tech still is not there. They tell me that he will call me in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, the tech calls me back and says that he will be out at 8:15. Guess what? It is 9:40 and I am getting ready for bed. No call and no tech. Come Monday I will be showing my extreme distaste for leaving a customer hanging. I think I really deserve to be compensated for having to waste a Friday night. Any ideas on what kind of compensation I should ask for? Anyone had a similar experience?

  • Good Progressive churches in the Dallas area?

Can anyone recommend any good progressive churches in the DFW area? I am looking for something that is geared towards post modern evangalism and composed of mostly young people (20-30). I would like them to have good music and fellowship, but not be too big.

  • Long term Adderall Use?

Are there any long term side effects from Adderall use (with a prescription and under the supervision of a doctor). I am aware of most of the common ones like possible addiction, elevated heart rate, wieght loss ,etc. The thing that I am most concerned about is neuro cognitive deficits later in life, especially considering that I began treatment as an adult. I have 10 mg BID prescribed and I do not take it everyday, only when I really need to focus. What about cardiac damage from elevated systemic vascular resistance or damage to the microcirculatory system? Any advice would be appreciated.

  • TB resurgence. Is it possible, and how likely is it?

Okay, so about a year ago I was diagnosed with active TB ( I got it from a patient that was noncompliant with his medication). Long story short, I was started on the three drug regiman consisting of Rifampin, INH, and Pyrazinamide. I religiously took these medications, due in large part to the fact that I am a nursing student and understand the implications of not following prescribed treatments) for six months. The question is , how likely is it that I will experience a resurgence (if at all). I know that I have to have a chest XR every couple of years. My chest CT showed that my one small lesion (caught early thankfully) had resolved post therapy.

    Thanks
