I have a Sagem USB ADSL modem plugged into my laptop which provides my internet connection. I have also been given a Buffalo AirStation WHR-G54S wireless router/4-port switch which unfortunately does not have an ADSL socket to plug in the phone cable that currently goes into my USB modem.

My question is, can I share my net connection to other computers by connecting the AirStation with an ethernet cable to the LAN port of my laptop and then connecting the other computers with ethernet cables to the remaining ports on the back of the AirStation? What settings would I need to make?

Does anyone know whether, in Second Life, it is possible to create, for example, a button that, when pressed, contacts someone in the real-world, either by email, pager, beeper, mobile phone etc? In this case, the idea being that, should someone in the environment require assistance, they could contact a real-world administrator in real time that way.

Try to say something positive, please. He was a great champion and, although he naturally can't be forgiven for his dreadful actions at the end, I think even he should still be pitied.

It is not necessarily dumb to ask whether "Mr. McMahon" died, as that is the character that is played by WWE CEO Vincent K. McMahon.

Although Vince himself is naturally not dead, no-one knows yet whether that character is or not, so please make sure you get the syntax correct before calling other people idiots for asking the question whether 'Mr. McMahon' is dead.

I have noticed that, when walking along a busy street, women tend not to look at other people very much but rather look more at either buildings, landmarks or, of course, shops.

Now if it were simply that girls didn't look at me then I might understand it, but when I see a girl walking in my direction along the street in the distance and can tell she has not looked at me (or indeed other guys) yet, I find it strange that she does not then look at least to see what is in front of her, let alone have a look at us for even a split second, even to decide they do or don't like what they see.

Do girls where you are tend to actively look at guys whilst walking along the street? Do they notice when guys glance at them in the same situation? Or do these same girls go home at the end of the day and think that guys are not interested in them when the fact is they simply don't pick up on all the glances they get because the don't check to see if they are getting any?

Is anyone aware of a piece of software that could be run remotely on a PC to report information about the RAM installed on that machine such as which slots are used, how much RAM is installed in them (e.g. 2 x 256MB or 1 x 512MB etc) and the type of RAM installed?

The aim of this is to allow us to access this information for a large number of PCs across our network (many of which are cascaded in from various places) with a view to finding out how many of them will require RAM upgrades for eventual Vista deployment.

Access to the machine's harddrives from a central location is not a problem but we simply want to avoid having to have someone go round each machine to check them for their RAM status!

"What is 'Susurraphilia'?" you may ask...well, a couple of years ago I came to realise that I took increasing delight in hearing the sound of whispering in all its forms, be it my girlfriend whispering in my ear through to DVDs with actors doing soft-spoken voiceovers etc.

I had a search through the internet to see if this phenomenon was documented, but when I found it was not, I decided to coin the term 'Susurraphilia' (literally 'the attraction or affinity to whispering') to describe it.

I don't call it as an illness or disease as such, because it brings me nothing but happiness to experience it and has no downside to it. It is also not an obsessive compulsion, however, as it does not dictate my natural behaviour, but is rather just a wonderful condition to have. Susurraphilia does not have any particular sexual undercurrents to it, although it can do in, for example, situations where a sexual partner is whispering to turn you on.

Are there other susurraphiles out there? :)

And before you all ask, no, I don't mean Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, I mean the original 'The Rock', Don Muraco!

Now then, deep-fried shredded chicken in black bean sauce is my favourite food but I have noticed from years of ordering it in various different Chinese restaurants that Chinese opinion is very divided as to whether this dish should exist or not.

Sometimes when I order it in a restaurant, the dish is on the menu and no-one bats an eyelid about me ordering it. However, in other restaurants, when I order it, the waiter is surprised and almost incredulous that I had ordered such a thing. It is as if they cannot conceive of the shredded chicken being put together with that sauce, although they have it with plenty of other sauces on the menu, and they have the black bean sauce in plenty of other dishes. I often have to repeat the order because they think they have not heard me correctly!

My question is, therefore, does anyone know why this might be the case? Is there a traditional divide that might make Chinese restaurant averse to serving it? Is it a speciality of one province?

Has the start time of tonight's Raw been put back due to the fact that the show is not going live in the States this week?

I am in the middle of a project of recording every Iron Maiden song in an acoustic version, me playing all the guitars, acoustic bass, all the singing and any extra sounds I might think of. I already have my sites up on numerous Maiden bulletin boards in around 8 different languages as well as having a MySpace site. Does anyone have any other ideas how I can let the Maiden-loving masses out there know about my versions?
