REinstall Windows XP without Disks?
I would like to REinstall Windows XP on my older desktop. I don't think the manufacturer included the Windows disks. I assume that Windows may be located on the hard drive? I do have the Windows "key code", but not sure of the steps necessary to REinstall windows w/o disks. I did make some recovery disks, but not sure if these are used during the REinstall process. Please provide detailed steps. Also the current hard drive is partitioned between a "C" and "D" drive. Do I need to do anything with this during REinstall? Any other tips will be appreciated !!!!
Thanks very much.
2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoTrouble sending MS Outlook E-Mail on Laptop?
Have two laptops in the house both running MS Outlook (different versions and users). They access the internet wirelessly. No problem when MS Outlook is first opened. Enter user id and password and e-mail is downloaded. The problem is when I enter a new e-mail and try to send, I get an error message. The e-mail just sits in the outbox.
Thanks for your help.

1 AnswerPersonal Finance1 decade agoWallpaper Removal (two layers of wallpaper with layer of paint in between)?
I am trying to remove some wallpaper. The problem is that the base layer is wallpaper, then there is a layer of paint, and then there is another layer of wallpaper! I have scored the surface with the tiger tool that makes little holes in the wallpaper. Then I have tried to steam the two layers of wallpaper off. It really takes a long time. Also have tried the DIF chemical remover sold at hardware stores. No luck with this at all.
Any other suggested methods?

I have a couple of kids who have laptops and I would like to limit where they go on the internet. Is there a wireless router that has parental controls and will work with ATT DSL? Please note: I don't want to install software on their laptops because they will find a way around it. I want to control internet access at the wireless router.
