Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan is a book based on Greek mythology and modern culture. Percy Jackson is a half blood. Definition: one of his parents is a god and his other parent is a mortal. However Percy is not just any half blood, he is the most important one of the century: Poseidon's son. With his two new friends: Athena's daughter Annabeth and the satyr Grover, Percy sets off across the country to find Zeus's legendary lightning bolt. If he doesn’t find the bolt a huge war between the god of the sky and the god of the sea will set in place. On this adventure the trio of heroes encounter quite a few monsters and battle until the death to make it the Underworld and retrieve the lightning bolt before it is too late.

I can't understand what it means and I have tried the dictionary and everything! Please help. Would it mean misdemeanor or penal? HELP!

I was watching the trailer for the movie lightening thief and I have read all the book and I saw the guy who was suppost to play Percy and he is old. I looked it up and the actor is 17. Did they change the story line or is the movie going to be the same as the book? The whole cast is different then the book.

I was watching a movie on these and I was wondering if they really could exist. I just want to know different people's opinions. Thank you!

I really like Basshunter, Benny Benassi, MGMT, The Beatles, Talking Heads, The Beach Boys, and I love music from the 70's or 80's. The problem is I need a new song to listen to. Have any ideas?
