Is it possible to solve this equation algebraically? I've tried to get rid of the radical signs by various rearranging and squaring both sides, but by the time all of the radicals are gone the exponent on h is impossibly high.

By using a graphing program, I know that there is a solution around h=70ish.

I have a JPEG image that I'd like to convert to a PDF, and I'm looking for the easiest way of doing that. Nothing fancy, just a 1-page PDF consisting of the image and nothing else. I don't have access to a Windows machine right now, and I'd prefer to do this without purchasing something.

Last summer we had yellowjackets building nests in several places on the house and in the yard, making going into the backyard a generally unpleasant experience. Is there anything that I can do in the spring to prevent them from making nests in the summer?

"No" is a perfectly acceptable answer (and, I assume, the most common one).

Most TV dramas don't chronicle the lives of their characters 24/7, so feel free to answer "Yes" if, say, an hour of your life a week or so is sufficiently interesting.

I have a pair of running shoes that are about six months old; they aren't particularly worn out, but I find that part of the sole squeaks fairly consistently when running or walking on hard surfaces, even when the shoes aren't wet. Is there a way to stop this, or should I either live with it or buy a new pair of shoes?

Didn't realise I was using *permanent* marker, so there's a fair bit of it. I've found that scrubbing it works, but rather slowly, so I could see this taking hours. Any faster suggestions?

The lyrics in the middle of this song have stumped me for a while. The first three lines go "Come on/Dance with me/Move your body" and I can't figure out what the last line is. Any ideas?
