ABORTION. why is it wrong?
I disagree with abortion, and think in most circumstances, it's wrong. I have to write a paper on why I feel this way, and I know why I do...but I guess I'm experiencing Writer's Block or something, because I'm having a hard time. I need 3 reasons, and supporting "evidence"on all three points. The paper prohibits first and second personal pronouns [meaning, I can't state my opinion]
This is what I have so far :
*The irresponsibility of two people should not result in the death of a third party.
*The idea of abortion shows that you can throw away your problems, without having to face them.
I think I can make them pretty strong, with a bit of help. :]
And another question: "First and second personal pronouns". Would I be able to give personal examples? Like, if I said... "What if YOU did this, and this happened to YOU?" Would that be appropriate?
Thanks. :]
P.S. Just in case you were wondering, I'm a sophomore in high school, and this is for my Pre-AP English class. :)
18 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoPLEASE HELP. I'm writing an essay for my AP English class.?
I want statistics for this particular section. Okay, the essay is about the school board wanting to lengthen the school day by adding one more period to the school curriculum. So instead of having 6 periods a day, you'd have 7. i agree with this theory "essay purposes only".
This is my first introductory paragraph:
"As briefly mentioned in the above paragraph, it is believed that this theory will make it easier for students to get into a good college because they will have met all of the college requirements. There are way too many stories heard, about good students not being able to get into college because of insufficient credits or the right classes were not taken. And the lengthening of the school day will definitely help to prevent these types of situations from happening more often than not."
Now all I need is like a statistic that shows how many kids DONT graduate school on time, or at all..because of insufficient credits. Basically, a statistic that supports my 1st para.
3 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agowhat does this quote mean?
I sort of have a general idea of what it means, but I want to be 100% sure.
"What the majority fails to recognize, is that it is the observable conduct, not the identity, of a person, upon which an officer must legally rely when investigating crimes and enforcing the law."
can someone explain to me in layman's terms what that quote means?
it has to do with search and seizure...and whether the government should have more or less of that right.
8 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoopinions about six flags?
Im going to 6 flags with my freshie friends on Mon. Jun 11th. I went to Disneyland with them on Thur. the 24th, & I TOTALLY hated it! The lines were ridiculously long, the workers were all being b i t c h y...& a couple of my friends were annoying me. I think the reason I hated it so much was cuz I hyped it up to be something else. Like Ive been to Disneyland many times, but going with all ur friends just seems like it would be so much better.
My first ques. about six flags is:
Is it going to be really crowded, and how are the lines? Like a friend of mine told me that the lines werent THAT long, & you dont get cranky due to the heat because they have these little spray things that mist water on you every couple of mins..does that really make a difference?
my second question is:
should I really be excited about this, like is it worth it?
because I dont wanna hype it up and then have it suck because it wasnt as good as I thought it was gonna be. Please help me.

4 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoI need debate help?
Well I`m going to particpate in a debate about search and seizure, and how much power the government should have. I`m on the affirmative team, meaning I have to argue that the government doesnt have enough power and should have more. (please keep in my mind that I was involuntarily placed into this debate by my World Geography 9 teacher, and I didn`t get to choose what aspect I would be arguing). Anyways, if anyone knows about debates, I`m position CEQ1 meaning that after all the contentions have gone, I have to ask the first question to the opposing team about what they believe, which is that the government has too much power, and should have less. And for some reason, I`m having a hard time coming up with a question, any help?
3 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoI burned my arm with my hot comb...and it keeps throbbing.?
I put something cold on it for awhile, and the pain went away, but then it came back, and its like pulsating pain. I cant sit here forever with an ice pack on my arm because I'm still not done doing my hair, and there's a party i have to go to in a couple of minutes. Are there any solutions...besides sitting here with ice for half an hour, but will make the pain STOP?
6 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoCan someone give some input on this rhyme that I made for the class of 2010? please give suggestions.?
We’re the best that’s ever been. Class of 0‘10 is so bracken, we got the class of ‘11 jockin’.
Never again will there be a repeat, so please don’t try to compete. And remember, you haven’t heard real spirit ‘til 20-10 makes you hear it!
