  • Non linear regression model for sales product launch?

Is there a non linear regression model for a sales new product launch?

    I found a similar fomula

    Y= (a+bx)/(1+cx+dx^2)

But i do not know the details of each variable (except x which is the time)

The behavior of the data is like this:

    1. It increases until a maximum point is reached

    2. After the maximum point, the data goes down until it reaches a non zero point where it becomes stable (asymptotic to zero or a non zero value)

  • What is this DSLR Battery grip product called?

I recently saw a product designed for DSLR

If you have a battery grip, the original battery fits inside it.it has a tray wherein you can put either an original battery or 6 AA battery

But this product removes the tray altogether and is one big battery.the whole cavity inside is replaced by one big battery.itis also designed to be charged directly with an ac charger.so i theory, you can directly plug your camera to an ac outlet

I saw that it is available for NIkon d3100 and d7000

    I forgot the product name

My question is what do you call it and where can i buy it?

  • What is the name of this movie?

I cannot remember the title of this old children's movie

i am not sure it is ewoks the movie or willow or something else

what i can remember is that there were little people set on a journey

    each were given magical items

    A sword

    a wand

    a stone

    others i forgot

what i clearly remember is that the one who got the stone was very disappointed because he only got a stone while everyone else got cool stuff

but when the group was lost in some kind of desert, the boy who got the "stupid stone" threw it away hit a wall and it broke open revealing either a small creature or a pointing device that showed them the way

I would like to know the name pf the movie because i will use this for my talk about teamwork.

    thanks in advance

  • 4th Dimension entity inquiries?

We as a human being live in a 3 dimensional world.we experience length, width, height. but we can only see the world two dimensions at a time.meaning we can perceive one dimension lower from where we live

this is because we use light to see the world. bouncing light can only show 2 dimension. we only have clues that the world is in fact 3d.

examples of the clues are shadows, and the change in size based on the distance from the viewer.

Now if the entity lives in 4 dimensions, that entity can also see one dimension lower from where it lives. meaning it can perceive 3 dimensions at a time. length, width, height, at any given time

My question is this : does this mean that 4th dimensional entities primarily do not use light to see its environment? it can detect light, but only as a supplementary perception?

  • Fuel Map Tuning: How to start?

I wanted to learn how to perform ECU tuning by adjusting the fuel map. but i cannot find a good source in the internet. they only say that when you increase the value, the opening time of the injector increases.

Based from this, i plan on performing the following procedure to learn how to adjust the fuel map. please see if my procedure is correct

    1. I will record a drive session from the car i want to tune using his stock BIN data. taking note what RPM he exits each individual curve. i will be taking notes of the RPM and Manifold Pressure at each curve exit

    2. Based from the reading, i take note of the minimum, maximum, and average RPM and Manifold Pressure reading

    3. from these readings, i will adjust by small increments (i dont know by how much, is 1 enough or do i go 5 per increment?) the areas in the fuel map where the min, max, and average values are. I will be using the O2 sensor to check the Air fuel ratio and not let it go rich (below 12.5:1). Since im increasing the values from the stock BIN, i believe i have no fear of leaning the engine.since the only way to go is richer (am i right?)

    4. then go another run to check for performance remarks from the driver, lap time, and watch out for occurrence of low power or knocking. i will also be watching the Air fuel ratio at each road curve

    5. repeat until the best lap time is achieved

    is my procedure correct?

I read an article that i should start from rich then lean the engine out until the desired AFR is achieved. how lean do i have to be in that case?max the Fuel map value?wouldnt it take longer
