Where do dolphins go when they die?
I have lived on the beach for 30 plus years and have never seen the dead body of a dolphin. I have seen harbor seals, sea lions, blue whales, grey whales, various sharks, crabs, lobster and the list goes on. I find it very strange that although I see them swim, play and jump past frequently, I have never seen one washed ashore. Please don't think I'm sick, I'm just curious.

6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDo dogs understand punishment?
My dog had gotten out and when she came home, I tied her to a rope. The rope was long, allowing her to come in and out of the house. She sat as nearest to me as she could and whimpered. Do you think she understands why I am doing this to her. She is 14 months old and has never been restrained this way before.
12 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat makes a person a hater and why do they hate on me?
It is not as though I have money or drop dead gorgeous and skeeze up on taken men. I am a single mom rich with laughter, music and good times. I am open minded, easy to get along with, do not judge others and ready to give the shirt off my back to anyone in need. I seldom give a @*#t what others think of me and always hope for the best. Yet I am continually challenged by some whom love to bad mouth me as though I have done something to hurt them. They accuse me of things I would never think of doing (lieing, cheating, using, vindictive behavior, spiteful, sneaky) Those close to me know what is true, what about the ones that are not as close? In the past and less now, it upsets me. I know the haters ultimate goal is to get a reaction from me, to knock me down. I do not like to be mean and often let these haters ( whom appear to be my friend on the surface) right on in, to attack and add negative drama in my life. Any advice? sorry about the novel

6 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoMoney wired to foreign countries, shouldn't America take it's cut?
Whenever I go to a local check cashing establishment, I can not help but notice hundreds of American earned dollars being wired to , primarily Mexico, and other countries. Meanwhile, Western Union, Money gram, and many other agencies are making millions of dollars. If America was to charge a state or federal tax for each transaction, would it help the budget crisis? and if not all states, only California? Also note, many are illegal aliens, paid under the table and not paying taxes.

15 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoMy husband and I are arguing about the difference between tupac and eminem, the question is who is better?
No doubt, Tupac is a phenomenal influence on music today, his one fault, hating on his peers. Eminem , my messiah, lyrically speaking , as talented as Tupac , though learned to rise above the hatred.

18 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHow come there are people not affected by music?
For instance, if I am in a store and a horrible song is being played, I can't take it, I will walk out. If I am in a bar with a juke box, I cannot help but play music. I first survey the crowd and play accordingly, not just what I would listen to. How can one only like one type of music. I can find a good song in all types.
6 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoWhy are people so fake?
I don't mean cosmetically, I mean personally. Don't say you like something, when you don't. Don't agree to do something, you won't. Don't be overly happy to see someone you hardly know, then turn around and be a complete *** to the ones close to you. When you first go to someones less fortunate house and express how beautiful their home is when it clearly is not. Why say anything at all. I know people so miserable, though to others come off so sweet and cheerful. I'm not saying to be negative because in fact you are, just stop being over the top positive.
7 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoHow come people placed in charge, are so mean?
I always wonder why, usually, people in charge can be total jerks with not a compassionate bone in their body. And the sickest thing about it all, they get off on it. How can one gain happiness by upsetting another. I do not get it.

3 AnswersPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoWhat has happened to the quality of customer service?
More times than not, I am amazed at the lack of desire people have when it comes to pleasing others. I find some people feel a sense of power saying no to requests of a customer. Why is it when it is finally my turn at the counter the phone rings. The phone customer, in the comfort of their home, has not knowingly cutted and the employee could care less. When I go out to a nice restaurant with high prices, I expect the service to be superb as well as the food. Though more times than not, the server was hired for her youth and looks with no clue about service. It bothers me most because I am a skilled server who aims to please and constantly waiting for the oppurtunity to make someones evening memorable and enjoyable. Waiting tables is not easy. You have to multi-task at a fast pace, get along well with others, able to memorize information, handle insults or poor treatment of mean people with a smile. Be creative and one step ahead of the customer. Be aware of customers expressions and body language in order to serve them better. When I go to a beauty supply with questions about products, please tell me about them or something else you may know more about.'I don't know' isn't good enough. There has been many times I will ask a store clerk for help if I am having trouble locating a product. Nine times out of ten they will say and point in a dirrection "I think it's over there some where" or they will simply say, "I don't think we have that". and then I tend to search and find on my own. I truly enjoy helping others without being paid. There have been many times I assist people in stores I don't even work at.
