  • Can anyone recomnend legal non prescription drugs to help with enery and alertness to help my studies?

Something you may be able to buy in the uk from Holland and Barret or something. At the moment I'm studying for a degree and get very tired. I try eating well but I feel so lethargic in class I can barely concentrate and essay writing is a chore because I have 0 energy and no motivation left to write for long periods. It's not something I want to do for prolonged periods just to help with deadlines and class occasionally when I feel particularly flat. I drink a lot of coffee but it upsets my stomach when I have too much and It doesn't do much to help anyway. Help.

  • Where can I see some of Richard Deacons art?

Are you an art lover who regularly visits galleries and exhibitions in an around London? And have seen any of his work displayed anywhere? I have been to a few recently and still have not managed to come across any of his works or sculptures. I have of course looked online but There is no information that I can find that tells you where his work is being currently exhibited even if it's just a few pieces rather than a whole exhibition.

Any information about where to look for current exhibits or info on where you have seen his works displayed would be helpful. I'd love to use his sculpture as inspiration for an art project but won't be able to unless I can see and photograph a piece.

  • What kind out outfit looks best on a date? Both guy and girl answers needed!?

I may have a very important date coming up this weekend and I want to look smoking hot! Need look ideas. Guys what kind out outfit really turns your head on women and girls what kind of outfit gives you the most success? I don't want to look cheap or too slutty. If it helps i'm more 'Made in Chelsea than 'The only way is Essex.' in how I normally dress but then maybe on a date that can be a bit too conservative. I don't want to come across as being a complete ice queen or too serious. Fun and young perhaps and not old.

I'm thinking a side swept pony tail and a mini dress of some sort.

  • Is it a bad idea for a new driver to drive a Toyota Celica?

My neibour is selling one on his car lott I've asked him about it and seems keen to sell it to me but I'm a bit unsure if its for me as I've only just passed my test. I can afford to insure it but I'm just thinking it may be a bit too poweful car for me who was learning to drive in a Toyota Yaris. I don't really inderstand the technical jargon about engine size just yet I just need someone to explain in plain english whether its a good idea or not to buy it. It concerns me somewhat thatgmy neibour wasn't to concerned about the fact im a new driver and saod I would be fine. Although my bf sayes it checks out for roadworthyness. And has full Mot and new break pads although he sayes the car has had to change them a few times already so thinks there may be a design flaw in break handling.

  • When people come to your house Do you offer food and drinks?

Does it make a difference if they were invited or not? Do you feel it's an imposition to? I always wonder what the general feeling is as I will always offer tea or coffee, snacks or a meal. I feel it's rude not to. But quite often people are surprised by my offering and very often when I visit I'm never offered anything and feel it's putting them out to ask for a glass of water. I also offer drinks and food to workmen and repairmen. (Or workpersons not meaning they are always men)

Also some people I know don't allow workmen to use their toilet I'm not sure why that is and do you agree with that?

  • Why does this guy try and make me jealous?

There was this guy I met in a club once that danced with me, it was about 8 years ago now when I was 17 I'd just started college I didn't really want to dance with him but my friends were encouraging me. I'd not been out with these girls before so I wanted to join in with what they were doing dancing with guys and all that and they kept shoving me at this guy I wasn't interested in. Even though he seemed quite sweet.

I danced with him for a little while but then thought about excuses to leave. When I did my friends were off making out with people so I was left on my own. I think it was the same for him as he followed me. I took his number mostly so I could leave him and go back to my friends but he still wouldn't leave he even followed me to the taxi.

Few days later when my friends asked me to go to a boat party and they were all bringing guys. I didn't have anyone to bring so I texted the guy to ask if he wanted to come to a party. The reply was really rude. Something a long the lines of 'I'm only interested in going out with my mates at the moment I'm not looking for girlfriend.' My response 'I was asking you to a party I wasn't asking you out.' I thought I don't need to keep that guys number so I deleted it and got on with my life. Didn't really think much about it. I wasn't bothered about that guy as at the time I was meeting plenty of guys at college and when I was going out. You know how it is. I got together with someone I was with for about four years after that. I had a ball.

Joke thing is I still see this guy all the time. He must live near me because he is always in the bars where I go out. I haven't spoken to him since or wanted to. But even the next time I saw the guy after the weird text was about a month after, he pointed and laughed at me in front of his mates. It really pis*ed me off at the time but I ignored it. I thought he must think he's really special. And he was drunk so after wards I didn't really care. It made me laugh after to think he feels really good about himself for turning my offer to a party down. Every time I see the guy he still does it or he gets the attention of one of his friends and stares at me and or laughs. Once he even got of with a girl in front of me and the weird thing was he kept looking at me she he was doing it. It was very strange.

I work now so I don't go out as much as I used to. I haven't seen him for about two years but I went out at the weekend and saw him. The same old nonsense started AGAIN! I really want to know why he's doing it. I really cannot understand why he does it or is still doing it. I really can't stand him. He's obviously not a very nice guy nor does he really look nice. He's a pretty average looking guy, the only way I can describe him is to say he looks a bit like Seth Rogan but less hairy and with spiky hair. Back in the day he was at least slim now he's much fatter so it's a little funny to me that he may still think I'm into him or hurt about the text. I really wish I could set him straight and tell him about himself.

I don't understand why he does it anyone have any ideas? I think may be I behaved like I was too good for him and now he wants to prove that he's better than me? I really don't know.

  • In business how does manufacturing work?

I wanted to conceptualise my business plan. Obviously i'm completely new to this so it may seem like a stupid question.

I have a business idea but it involves a process of manufacture such as carpentry that I am unable to do myself. I basically have ideas for designs of furniture that I need someone to build for me as I am not a carpenter. I was thinking about it then I wondered if someone else is building the furniture for me then do they part own the product or at least deserve to profit from the sale of that product. As to begin with one or more people would be employed by me to make a line of furniture that had been entirely built from their own hard work. It seems a bit rude to then pay them a wage and none of the profit that I would then make from selling the furniture. How does business justify this? I get that this is the nature of most business when something has to be manufactured by someone else. In my business I need to start off with a few items to sell to see if it may be worth my while spending time and money growing the business so they would need to be built entirely by someone else probably one person per item of furniture. Having production line in the beginning isn't going to be worth it as employing about ten people when i'm not making money yet would be impractical and something I could not afford to do at first maybe somewhere down the line I would do this if there were a high demand.

I had thought about a course in carpentry but even then it would take time for me to build a whole line of furniture that I can sell. To make five or ten items wouldn't be worth it I would obviously need to make a lot more than I can build to profit significantly from this business. I need to build a business plan and would need to factor in manufacturing costs. Anyone with experience in business who can offer advice.

  • What would be your big brother game plan?

They talk about certain people having a game plan all the time it drives me nuts. Who honestly thinks people on the outside are dumb enough to fall for someone who's using a game plan in order to win and manipulate others. It seems no one has figured out yet that the surest way to win is to befriend the underdog. Never bi*ch or slag anyone off and stand up for yourself and others in arguments when people are being nasty or bullying and tell them off. Otherwise arguments are definitely a no go.

Anyway that would be my game plan If you could call it that. But then thats just me and thats what I do do if someone was being nasty and bullying to someone. I can't sit there and say nothing. But then it would be slightly fake of me not to argue with someone I would be biting my tongue if they had really peed me off. Anyhoo, thoughts?

  • Why do guys constantly fiddle with and adjust their man parts even in public?

I just mean, fiddle with their parts over clothes, make constant adjustments and sometime put their hands down their shorts and rummage for ages. If a woman did it in front of people i'm sure someone would have something to say about it. Its used to be a phase of a boys development that stopped around the age of around 6 or 7. But the mind boggles to why grown men do this in front of people. What you do in your own company and all that. But it irritates me when guys do it when I'm talking to them it's so gross. I often have to say can you not do that right now. No one wants to see that! It's really bad manners. And gee if someone caught me having a good rummage in my underpants I'd be mortified, why theres absolutely no embarrassment on their part really baffles me. Aren't you embarrassed? If a guy I was on a date with did this there would not be a date 2, it's such a turn off!

  • Do you let your kids hangs around the streets in the evening?

More often than not I see teens hanging around after dark. Not even going anywhere but hanging outside mcdonalds or sitting outside a grocery store late into the evening on a school night. And when I say kids I mostly mean teens but even younger kids are out. When they are college age I'm sure anyone would have trouble telling their teens what to do. But it just really worries me. When kids are getting knifed and or shot in the street what parent would allow them to play out in the evenings. I was never allowed to go out to hang with my friends on streets when I was a kid. I was allowed to go to their houses after school sometimes but never walk home alone.

I was watching 24 hours in A&E and lots of young teens mostly black kids who had been knifed were featured all I kept thinking was he's kid why was he hanging around on a street with his mates at that hour? What parent allows that especially on London's streets where theres no way young boys are getting up to anything constructive by hanging out in the streets in the evening. So why allow it? I wouldn't. And even just to go to and from somewhere I wouldn't allow them to walk home alone. I would allow their friends to come and hang out at my house if they wanted but then they aren't getting up to no good anywhere else.

I think there should be a national curfew for unsupervised under 18s late in the evenings or even just after 7pm.. A good idea or bad?

I wanted to put it on ebay but I'm worried about how the person could collect it, laying it flat in someones car could damage it as its too tall to put standing up as could taking it apart. I wanted to send it as the person might not be able to collect it.

How does one go about sending something as large as this and does anyone have an idea of how much it might cost? I'm in england.

  • Have I ruined my Mums Birthday?

I bought my mum lots of nice presents, made her a cake, went out my way to make sure she had a nice birthday, and I'm taking her out to dinner on Saturday. Which is more than she does for me.Then she had one of her friends drop by to wish her a happy birthday and my mum spent the time slagging me off and saying she has to do everything because she gets no help. Which is a lie, I do a lot for my mum all of the cooking, shopping. And she's has a bad heart so I have to stay home and care for her. I don't have my own life because I have to be at home for her. Her friend looked at me like I was dirt and when my mum was out the way told me off for not helping enough. I couldn't really say that my mum just like's to have people feel sorry for her and make out she's on her own so she gets more attention and pity. So now I've gone and got all upset about it and had a go at her and now she's upset and i'm upset because I've probably ruined her birthday. I don't know how to fix it now.

  • ...Ok so what is the English politically correct way of saying a person of oriental decent?

In England Indian people call themselves Asian so obviously it does not work to call them both Asian when both races are so very different. What are we meant to say without being offensive.

  • I've just accidentally installed Office mac 2011 twice, How do I remove one?

Will uninstalling it remove both? Whilst setting up my computer I installed Office mac, then went to install the mac internet security like an idiot I got two disks mixed up and put the same disk in and went through the install again it was only when I took the disk out did I realize. Not sure why it didn't stop me.

So do I need to uninstall one of them or both and reinstall? If I don't isn't it just taking up more disk space that I could have used. Will both installations conflict with each other? Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm new to the world of mac so sorry if this is a really thick question.

  • How thoroughly should I clean the hamsters cage after an infection?

My hamster died of an illness that was rather like diabetes, the vet said it wasn't wet tail as its droppings were sold but it was passing a lot of water. I wont go into it but without knowing the reason why my hamster died I decided to treat it as one anyway and clean the cage with disinfectant just in case. I have waited four months before getting another hamster and I may get one tomorrow but i'm worried the cage may not be clean enough still. Or that it may still get sick from it, I couldn't bare that again. Similarly how long should I leave the hamster cage before using it again for another hamster or is there no amount of time for an infection to become uninfectable (if that's even a word.) if there's still trace elements of an infection anywhere can it now still reinfect another hamster?
