Here's my dilemma. My 10 month old daughter refuses to sleep by herself.?
She will scream and shake the crib for hours and insists that we cuddle face to face in order for her to sleep at night. I have tried the week and a half of letting her scream it out and it worked a bit. Then she got sick and I made the mistake of letting her sleep with me again and now I have absolutely no luck at all. Absolute REFUSAL. So, here's the question. Tonight I want to start trying again. Currently, her crib is in our bedroom next to our bed. I'd like to move it to her own bedroom and I wonder if it would be too devastating to kill two birds and start training her to not only sleep alone, but in her own room alone. Should I do both, or get her in the crib and then eventually move her to her own room? Serious question here.

Here's the problem, one we created. For the first 6 months of my 8 month old daughters life, she slept in her car seat. She had acid reflux and frankly, she was happy there. At one of the Docs visits she warned us we would have behavioral problems and to get her in a bassinet. That evening I did what she advised, and woke to find the baby face first into the bumper pad.
That is when I put her back in the carseat.
Now, at 21 pounds, she no longer fits.
We bought her a crib, but when we put her in it she flips out. Even if we get her to sleep first, she will wake up and scream, stand up and shake the sides until we give in.
The last fit lasted 30 minutes before we gave up.
Since then, we have let her sleep in her swing. This was working fine as my husband who works nights would put her in bed with him when he'd get home.
Yes, I'm on the couch sad to say.
Anyways, now, she falls asleep in her swing for maybe 10 minutes then awakes and screams as if she is being massacred until we pick her up, lay down on the couch, and she goes right back out again.
HELP!! How long do we let her cry? Someone out there had to have made this same mistake!
Btw..lastnight she ended up between the bed and the wall!!
Crib time now!

I have an 11 week old daughter that I have been breastfeeding. We also give her formula during the day which has been working out well.
I have had mastitis 3 times but other than that, done pretty well with the bf.
Here's the problem. I am supposed to be taking a medication that is forbidden while breastfeeding.
I have continued to put it off but the time has come where it would be beneficial to start it up again.
I have realized that the center of my guilt stems from the idea that the day I quit breastfeeding the baby, my 7 yr old daughter will come home with some horrific germ that will do serious harm to my infant.
Is this fear even a possibilty? And is this guilt normal or a sign from God that if I stop now, I will be doing my child significant damage?
I am so torn as I want the best for her, but I have got to get back on this medication.
I want to add, I only breastfed my other daughter for 5 weeks and had no issues switching her to formula.
So why is there such guilt now?
Thanks in advance and please, no bs comments here, I feel bad enough.
