Women, would you accept a political appointment that you were qualified for but not the most qualified for.?
Say the next President wants to score political points and selects you (though I hate to pick a specific person, you making the decision for Gen. Lori Robinson, who seems a really viable choice.) To be the next Chair of the Cheifs of Staff, you know you can do the job, but really feel the other officers all of whom are men are more qualified than you. You have been told that your qualifications are a happy accident, your sex is the real reason you are being offered the highest uniformed posting.
Do you accept?

Does it bother anyone else that when a Florida principal, who happens to be a woman, is caught partially clothed in a car with an 18 yeat old male student, that they both get arrested. A small amount of pot and drug paraphernalia were in the car which were hers.

Perhaps it is my own prejudice talking but if the sexes were reversed, I could not see a female student getting arrested.
10 AnswersGender Studies6 years agowould you prefer to be considered interesting or attractive?
There are so many really attractive people in the world especially women, that it seems that being attractive is not that special or extraordinary, but for someone to actually notice you and be interested is rare.
4 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoHow many women feel that their employer underpays them, personally? And if you feel underpaid, why are you not looking for a better job?
If the pay gap is truly about personal choice, and I believe that it is a part of it, but also about policies that require employees to not discuss their compensation, how many women acknowledge that they have accepted work that pays less but feels better?
2 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoHow many women feel that they are competing with the man in their life?
A lady friend and I were at the gym because we wanted to spend time together and obviously I am a wreck and need to work out. So I helped her set up a leg press with 50 pounds assuming that was a good weight for her and she struggled through it and finished her set.
Then I put another 250 pounds on it and did mine.
To which she said why bother and went off do a stationary bike, while I felt I had to rush through my workout because she was upset.
I never realized we were competing with anyone but who we were last week?
7 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoIs there interesting in superhero stories, in prose.?
I have an idea that is hanging in the back of my head and it wont let go. An outsider/"not a team player" hero who is trying to make his way as a hero for hire in world where people with powers are old news, certainly not common but a part of the fabric of the world.
The main story is going to fundamentally be trying to figure out how and why another apparently invulnerable superheroes was killed by using a weakness that grew out the other characters secret origin. The term the use in the story is "hyperoning" after one of the more famous and powerful people to whom it was done.
