What are the values of a,b and c such that:

2x^2 + bx + 5 = a(x+2)^2 + c

So my son recently got a PS4 for Christmas, as have some of his friends. All his friends have this game, and he too wants it. I have read about it, and hear that it contains blood, sexual scenes, gross violence - especially in cut scenes.

Is it appropriate for my 14 year old son, can you skip the cut scenes?

Also he gets fairly high grades B 's and A's.

I'm studying further maths for GCSE, and don't understand this.

If f(x) = 10 - 4x, solve f(-1)

The book says the solution is this:

f(-1) = 10 - 4(-1)

= 10 + 4

= 14

I don't understand how this works, Please Help!!!

When I try to talk with new people, I found myself lacking confidence, and often stumble over my words.

Does anyone know any good ways to overcome this problem.
