Which category are you?
Over my lifetime, (considerable to say the least), I've grouped people into two categories:
1) Those that trust others, until they prove themselves not worthy.
2) Those who distrust others from the beginning until they prove themselves otherwise.
Is this by choice and/or do you think this is the right way?
32 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoPOLL: Do you initiate making new friends or do you generally just respond to offers of friendship?
I generally just respond for two reasons: I know what I'm offering in terms of friendship and I've lost enough of them to the reality that not many are true.
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoIn any society or group of people who constantly relate to each other, like offices, a culture develops...?
Tell me what you think Y!A culture has become or becoming?
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoThe question on who puts the seat up or puts it down....?
I asked this in another category and now I want to resolve this age-old dilemma with a poll. Is it fair to ask that Men should put the seat up (if it is down and leave it up) then women should put it down (when it is up and they want to use it and leave it down). Yes or No?
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoShould men lift the seat or should women put it up after they pee?
I'm wondering why this "rule" always apply to men. Why shouldn't it be women since they're the ones really bothered by it? I do follow the rule, I'm just wondering why it is so.
7 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoIs divorce a natural thing now and no longer something that married couples want to avoid at all cost?
I just believe that the most common reason for divorces, "irreconcilable differences", is a a very weak reason for a divorce or separation. I believe an unjust marriage can be annulled or violent spouses are a reason for separation....but "differences"? We are all different anyway.
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHow many points do I need to get to level 2 in Y! Answers?
I read it somewhere but just lazy to go looking for it. I would rather be answering questions.
17 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoIs there a defined perimeter that a non-Muslim may not enter? I ask as I would need to visit nearby farms.?
Roads or landmarks that tell me the restricted zone in Medina as I would need to get to farms near the city.
