Is it possible to go blind from starring at the sun and/or an eclipse?
I know this question most likely has this answer as a definite but someone I know & care about (going to remain unidentified online) was thinking about doing something like this. I was like "no". Then this person said what about if I do it w/ 1 eye covered. I was like "the eye that's not covered will go blind". I'm not trying this at all, but I'm assuming it's possible to go blind by doing this/going half-blind with one eye covered?

If there was just one vehicle in the whole world? Do you all think there would be roads or not? Why? I think no because it would be pointless for 1 car.
3 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation6 years agoThis is based off my first question, "blind in 1 eye vs glass eye/patch" how much do you all think one eye would be able to see?
I hear some people think that 1 eye & 2 eyes make very little difference.
1 AnswerOptical6 years agoIf people were born with one eye in the center instead of 2 eyes (left/right). What would our lives be like?
If we were born as cyclops. What would our lives be? I'm assuming vision would be similar somewhat, right? We'd have to be more careful. I wander if eye protection for constructional/science/landscape/electrical work be a law if we were made that way. What's your opinion on this?
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoI know this question may sound dumb, but is it possible for a person to lose both eyes at once?
Hi, is it possible for someone to lose both eyes (actual eye removal - not waking up blind in bed) for reasons other than illnesses.Reason I'm asking is because it's hard to for a person to lose 1 eye. I know this can happen to kids with retinoblastoma. I'm assuming it can happen also due to freak accidents & if so, which ones? I'm assuming bombs can do things like this, but anything else?
1 AnswerOptical6 years agoPerson A Blind in one eye vs Person B with glass eye/eye patch?
Hi, I know this question sounds really stupid, but I've heard someone else say that blindness in one eye vs a glass eye will look slightly different. To me (I & this other person can both see out of both eyes) half-blindness & a glass eye would look exactly the same (in vision terms). What do you all think? Do you think being blind in one eye vs having a glass eye would look the same or different?
