  • What can I use to get the smell out of plastic?

I have a hard bag on my motorcycle, and I accidentally left Chinese food in it to rot. I can't seem to get the smell out no matter what I do, I've used baking soda and let it sit open in the Sun for two or three days.

  • What do I need to do to get my Japanese 2006 Honda Fit registered in the US?

I am with the US Military stationed in Japan. I purchased a 2006 Honda Fit that I have been thinking about bringing back home with me. I can physically get the car to the US, but I need to know what I have to do to get it registered and street legal. It's a great car and I think I hope it would be cheaper to register this one rather than buying another used car that I don't know the history on. Arigatou gozaimasu!!

  • Moving to Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan for 2 years. Anyone have any advice?

I'd like to hear from any other US Navy person who has moved from the US to Yokosuka, Japan under orders. There are a few questions I'd like answered but I'd like to hear any advice that would make my trip easier!

Would it be easier to sell a lot of my stuff or have them pack and ship it all out there. I'm just talking a studio apartment's worth of stuff.

I'm selling my SUV but I also have a Yamaha V-star motorcycle I want to take with me. Are those commonly seen out there? Or would I look ridiculous out there alongside the Japanese style bikes/scooters/cars?

Where would you recommend living? I'd like my own place, preferably near the base.

Thanks for reading, any additional advice would be helpful to me! (And anyone else in my situation that may stumble upon this question from a search engine!)

  • How do I get out of my speeding ticket?

I got my ticket while trying to get my girlfriend to the hospital in a timely manner to prevent her from going into diabetic shock. Im 25 and this is my first ever ticket/traffic vioation. Ticket was written up as 75 in a 65 zone, even though the cop said he saw 83 on the radar gun. I thought about a written declairation letter, along with the emergency room paperwork.

  • How to sell my Jet Ski?

I have a jet ski I would like to sell, I still owe about $8 thousand on it. It has some cosmetic damage on it so I don't think I'm going to get the full amount I owe. How would I go about transferring the title if I settle for a lower price? Am I correct in assuming I would have to pay the difference to get the loan paid off to get the title transferred to the new owner?

  • Got my girl an ipod for her b-day, can I use my itunes to put music on it?

I don't know a whole lot about itunes or apple. I own an Ipod therefore I have Itunes. So I bought an ipod for my girlfriend for her birthday and wanted to put some music on it for her. Now it says the name of the NEW ipod is the name of MY ipod. Is it still going to be 100% functional for her on her computer? Or should I just restore it to factory settings before giving it to her?

  • Does having ADD/ADHD have any medical impact on being a commercial pilot?

Being a pilot is the only thing I've wanted to do. I don't want someone telling me I have ADD and disqualifying me from doing that. I've suspected I have it but don't want to go to the doctor for it.

  • Can you beach a jet ski?

I have seen countless people ride their jet ski's right up to the beach and park it. I know getting sand in the system isn't good for it, and there are procedures stated in the manual to clear out debris, but can beaching it really harm it in the long run?

  • I need to stop getting airsick!?

I'm a student pilot with only 15 or so hours under my belt. Most of the time I'm ok flying, but when I'm doing manuvers like tight turns and stalls, I start to get airsick. Will I ever grow out of it? I'm not too crazy about the dramamine or other "drowsy" drugs either. I'm getting my license, whether I fly with a barf bag for the rest of my life or not...
