Why put Hillary Clinton in the Grammys? Can't we make this stop?
Who thought that putting one of the most divisive political characters on the Grammys would help the democrats chance? They're just pushing people further and further away.
16 AnswersPolitics3 years agoWhat good aspects of the USFL did the NFL incorporate?
Weren t free agency and no supplemental draft part of the USFL before the NFL determined that was a good idea? Isn t DJT responsible for all the money being made by NFL players today?
1 AnswerFootball (American)4 years agoCan one of these Authoritarian Progressives please explain logically why you are for limiting speech?
I know there is the argument that 'words are violence' - they are not. I've also heard that 'offensive speech should be limited'. What makes you think that your speech is always going to be defended? What happens when something you believe is deemed 'offensive'? You are fighting against your own interest.
7 AnswersPolitics4 years agoWhy are liberals advocating for Sharia Law when it is actively against their values?
For example: A woman in Saudi Arabia is being investigated for walking around in a mini skirt. Do liberals want certain clothes banned, too?
22 AnswersRamadan4 years agoThe Kathy Griffin / Donald Trump picture - is there more symbolism than meets the eye?
Personally, I don't see it as much more than 'I don't like Trump'. Sure, art can be provocative, but there wasn't much more than surface to this. Was the fact that Kathy Griffin holding the head supposed to represent something else? Is the head of our President representative of something? I tried looking it up, and not even the artist was willing to explain the deeper meaning (if there were any).
5 AnswersPolitics4 years agoIs music not as important in today s society as it was in the past?
Music seems to have had more impact / importance in years past than it does now. For example, in the 1960s, there was a lot of protest music that was popular because of the message. Today it seems like the message is only important because the entertainers and artists are popular. Beyoncé, for example is popular and throwing around that clout in the political arena, as opposed to Bob Dylan who sang protest songs and became popular.
Most of the popular artists these days don t seem to be spending much of their energy on making these types of songs, in lieu of making songs that are about other people.
The musical feuds between artists are more important that the lyrics that are put out. Kanye vs. Taylor. Drake vs. Meek Mill. Miley vs..... Normal.
7 AnswersRock and Pop4 years agoIs there some kind of timeframe statute being imposed on the refugees?
Obama just approved bringing in 100,000 more refugees. Are there any plans to have a limit on the number of years they can stay? Or are we just extending citizenship to them?
Immigration5 years agoHas anyone seen any Presidential ads from someone OTHER than Hillary?
I'm in Colorado, and I've literally changed channels to avoid her campaign ads only to find the SAME EXACT AD on another channel. Is it that bad elsewhere?
6 AnswersElections5 years agoDoes anyone else get the notion that the reason we are so angry in America these days is because we can't easily physically travel?
If we, as a nation, were to come together via some kind of mass transit system (I'm thinking a high-speed railway) so that when tragedies happen - like Dallas, Charleston, Ferguson, Baltimore (the list goes on and on) we aren't playing some kind of stupid 'Telephone' game over the internet? We can actually speak face to face? Hug it out?
3 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy aren't foreigners expected to learn the laws of the US?
I've seen many articles lately of tourists from other countries violating US laws, then people from the US defend their actions. If I as an American am expected to learn the laws of the other countries I visit, why do we allow others to disrespect our country? It has lead to destruction of our National Parks, and we've been forced to slaughter our wildlife due to the ignorance of these foreign tourists.

7 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWould Americans be willing to vote for a literal unknown?
If an American citizen were to take it upon oneself to tour across the US and speak with people about politics, would you be willing to vote for them? No political background, just a person with ideas.
1 AnswerPolitics5 years agoNow that the Oscars are over, what's the newest #SoWhite trend going to be?
With the Oscars behind us, what do you think the newest trend will be to blindly tell white people how racist they are?
2 AnswersVideo & Online Games5 years agoAre there any candidates that actually have plans for what they'd want to accomplish while in office?
I've been trying for the life of me to watch all of the debates (both sides, right and left) to figure out who to vote for. All the candidates that are left just seem to want to throw around buzz phrases - "protect the constitution", "bolster the economy", "defund obamacare". Nobody has really said any specifics of WHAT they want to do or HOW they plan to achieve this.
6 AnswersPolitics5 years agoHow are the Obama and Cruz birther arguments different?
The arguments are the exact same, but the logical outcomes seem different. Cruz WAS born in Canada, but his mother is American making him a "natural-born" citizen (according to his supporters). Even IF Obama was born in Kenya (or outside the US), his mother is still an American citizen. If we're using the same logic for Cruz and Obama, wouldn't Obama also be a natural-born citizen?
